Pretty interesting & sometimes funny interview with one of our team's MVP candidates.

It's a bummer he's in the same Conference as Shane Lechler. He should be going to the Pro Bowl. He leads the AFC in net punting average. I think he's second in punts inside the 20. And he's punted more than any punter in the AFC. The only thing Lechler has on him is gross average.

After all the years of watching Rouen kick it into the stands from the 40-yard line, I've come to appreciate Colquitt. I truly could not stand Rouen. It's weird to say that about a punter, I realize. But I thought he was horrible at his job. And he married Amy Van Dyken, who I've heard is not a very pleasant person. So there's that, too.

I like his game but don't call him an MVP unless we have a separate award for ST. He has been one of the best and would like to know what his stats are for dropping the ball inside the 10. Inside the 20 stat is for pussies.

First time I heard a press confernce from a punter. Shows how important he has become for the Broncos. Funny about the 6:15 mark.

I loved Bucky Dilts. What an awesome name! That was right about when I started watching the Broncos. I didn't know anything about him, other than, as a seven-year-old, "Bucky Dilts" rolls off the tongue.

Remember Fred Steinfort? He could have broken Dempsey's record. He wasn't all that good inside of 50; but he could boom them.

Colquitt has arguably been the best player at his position and the most consistent player on the entire team this season (save for that one muffed snap which he recovered)

Definite top 3 MVP candidate for this team imo

For that, we must give Lonnie Paxton our longsnapper some credit.
Next, I want to see Paxton press conference

For those who haven't actually clicked the link and watched, I do recommend it. I think I watched it yesterday, and thought about posting a thread as well. It gives some good insights - not just in the mind of a punter, but in the mindset of the entire Broncos organization since Fox came in.

It's worth the 10-13 minutes of your time if you want to hear about the team farting in the tunnel while waiting to go in the Vikings game...

Yeah, that was a funny presser. I've just finally had the chance to listen to the whole thing...
His brother at KC is also a good punter.
I know their dad played in the NFL but not sure if it was as a punter...

Yeah, it sounds like he's actually thinking about punting to Hester. I know he doesn't make the call, but all the same...

DO NOT KICK THE DAMN BALL TO HESTER!
