Don't think that this game against the Vikes is going to be an easy win. Minny can be a tough place to play, and this team's strengths match up pretty well with the Broncos' strengths.
They have a consistently good run defense. Their QB is struggling, but will eventually have a break-out game. Von Miller is hurt...that could be a factor. Broncos will need to pick up first downs and run clock. I wouldn't be surprised to see Tebow throw for 300 yards in this one. Broncos really need to win the turnover battle...if they don't they will have not taken advantage of their strengths against this team. If things break right, Denver can win this one. |

I spent the week working in MN. The fans there are pretty down on the vikes. I heard more then a few 'I hope they just move to LA' comments It was in jest but the point is if we can get off to a good start I think the dome will be much easier on us.

I think that if the Broncos show the focus and commitment enough to win this game, then theres a good chance that they win the division. |

This will be the easiest Denver win since KC. (Since AP is out)

Vikes are 9th against the run in terms of total yardage, but tied for 26th in yards allowed per carry.
I'm not sure their run defense is really "top ten." I think it's more just a matter of teams taking advantage of their depleted secondary. An injury-riddled defense, a rookie QB and their best player out of the game. If the Broncos can't take advantage of this, they can forget about the playoff hunt. |

The Vikes have a bad secondary, but do the Broncos have a QB that can exploit that?

Gotta grind down the clock and win the field position battle. Got to force some turnovers from Ponder, who's going to be forced to throw with AP being out.
Vikes secondary is pretty bad. It would be nice for Demaryius Thomas to take advantage of that. A couple of deep balls could be the difference in this game. |
