Afflalo's always been a good defensive player. He's just slowly added more and more to his game. Probably will continue to as well.

According to Matt Steinmetz via twitter, the Knicks have talked to Denver about a trade concerning Ronny Turiaf.

A lot of sources have reported that the Knicks are now the leader for Tyson Chandler, but they need to trade Billups and Turiaf to get enough cap space to make the deal possible.

If the Knicks were willing to part with Landry Fields or Iman Shumpert to Denver, I could see Denver being interested. Otherwise, what's the point? We don't need to help out the Knicks to take on a contract that isn't even that good.

Chandler is a nice pick up for the Knicks, but it makes me wonder what the plan is beyond that...im hearing Amar'e to NO for CP3...which would be nice, but leaves the knicks thin up front. But I think CP3, carmelo, and Chandler complement each other well

Yeah, I've heard the CP3 rumor too. Just can't see NO, or anyone wanting Amare's contract. Maybe they could find a third team that would be willing to trade young players/picks for Amare tho.

Oh I disagree, if you're NO and you can get a star who is under contract and can't leave in return, you do it. You still need to sell tickets, etc.

Anyone read Simmons 4th day of xmas today? He loves the Celtics a bit too much and makes his boy Rondo seem like a whiny tard

I think that would work for the first couple years, but Amare's contract is terrible down the line.

Rumor is that Houston/Lakers/Hornets are working on a three way trade. Gasol potentially going to the Rockets, Lakers getting CP3, and Hornets potentially getting picks, Scola and Martin.

ive heard its done but not the specifics, ive also heard for bynum and odom, and possibly pau going to houston, if they lost all 3 thats not a great trade. where the rebounds going to come from?

It's Gasol and Odom to the Hornets. Bynum is still on the Lakers, but could be used to send to Orlando for Dwight in a package.
