Default Oakland: All Aboard the Failboat

So now that we've officially put the Chargers out of their misery this season, time to track Failboat Oakland and their impending crash into the iceberg that is their schedule to hand Denver the keys to the AFCW.

A resurgent Miami team that has frankly become extremely good. After narrowly losing to the Giants on the road, they physically and mentally molested KC in Arrowhead, held a Shanahan offense to single digit points, followed that with the same against an explosive Buffalo team, and narrowly lost to Dallas at the Death Star. In fact, the last time Miami lost at home was to Tebow's first 2011 miracle. Miami should physically dominate an Oakland front 7 that's tired and overplayed and lacking McClain due to prison lol.

Prediction: Miami by 10

The Green Bay Packers... seriously that's all I'm going to say.

Prediction: Green Bay by 24

The Detroit Lions, most likely without Suh. Still SO much more explosive, scoring more frequently and more consistently and significantly better at taking care of the football. This weekend the #27 Pass D (prob lower after meeting the Packers) meets Megatron and gets taken out like Starscream.

Prediction: Detroit by 17

Oakland travels to Arrowhead. Never mind that the last time they played, KC shut them out and drubbed them 28-0. Never mind the mystique of playing @ Arrowhead in the dead of winter. In this game, Orton realizes it's one of his last chances to salvage a career in a contract year and lights up these fruits in make-up and shoulder pads one last time until their tears streak their mascara.

Prediction: Chiefs by 7

And lastly... the San Diego Chargers. This time, the most talented team wins... in convincing fashion.

Prediction: Chargers by 21

We win out and we're probably looking at the 2 seed.

But we're not winning out. And neither is Oakland.

Actually, check that. Pats, Texans, Pitt all have pretty easy schedules. Still, point remains that 10-6 will get wildcard IMO no matter what Oakland does (and likely what they'll do is lose more than they win the rest of the way.

Let's expand this thread and Mock some Faider fans.

I'll take that ****-stain Maximus. Quite possibly the worst football poster with a completely undeserved opinion of himself. Here's a prediction thread where he toots his own prediction ability.

....and here's some gems from that very thread:

We're taking Adrian Peterson!

If Newberry passes the physical grove moves to a guard spot... If Newberry does not pass Adam Treu takes Groves spot and grove moves to Guard.

You can hold me to the Adrian Peterson prediction!

Okay, NOW we're taking Brady Quinn!

Here's what will happen on Draft Day... The Raiders will trade down with Tampa Bay and then select Brady Quinn. Quinn is further along in his development as a QB. Al Davis does not want a project at QB. I know there have been references to his love of big arms and his quest to get Elway and the conversation that he had with Art Shell about Michael Huff... However, one fact that is not being considered is the reluctance to rebuild... Davis likes to reload. Quinn is closer to that mentality. The second factor is Salary 25mil is steep for a franchise that is located in a small market!

Maximus is now officially on Record with the official insider pick

We WON'T draft McFadden, that's for sure!

I'm done gathering all my information from my sources... Sands is a situational player, Kelly will start every play. Burgess is our best pass rusher. Jay Richardson anchors the other end. William Joseph is not reliable because of injury so, somebody has to replace Sapp... Dorsey will be gone to ST Louis or Atlanta. So we will trade down a few slots... pick up a third and Take Ellis! There is no way Al Davis will sit on the sidelines and watch 99 players get selected with out making a move to get into the second and third rounds. Jordan, Washington, Schweigert are all in play on saturday!

Finally, I think kiffin is happy with his RB situation and this dictates that he move out of the 4th slot!

Maxipad suggesting Oakland select Mack or Unger at 7 overall (FYI, mid 2nd round pick) lol:

4. He can present the history Raider Dominance starting with the center position

5. Unger and Mack are beasts in the running game and fit the ZBS

It could be Mack... I happen to like Unger a little better but either will do. I don't think the slotting makes a difference. I'm leaning very strong that we take an offensive lineman with our first pick and it will be a center.

To answer your question... ( We could get both if we take Crabtree at 7. There are teams at the bottom of the draft that need tackles so Unger could slip to the second round )

FYI, didn't even include a lot of HILARIOUS self congratulating for his awesome predictions and "success rate" (which is literally below 0...) and at least half a dozen references to his "inside sources"
