From DP blog - http://blogs.denverpost.com/broncos/...t%3A+Sports%3A
This kid's a baller - and I'm not just saying that because he played at Fl St. A couple times this year when #25 Harris made a great play in Nickle, I had a 2009 #25 Carter flashback. They're both very quick, physical, yet smaller CBs with great awareness. TCarter is still P-Squad eligible, but it might make more sense for us to sign him straight to the 53-man and bump RBush now that McCarthy is also on the 53-man. |

He is in contact with a friend of mine and signed tonight - but I don't know if that was to the PS or we are going to move someone off the 53 to make room for him. My guess is the PS.

Hope Allen has as much success with him as he has had with the rest of the secondary.

He had his moments as a rookie(2nd year?) player in 09. In the beginning of the year whenever Harris made a play I'd yell "there ya go Carter!!" only to catch myself seconds later, he was a pretty good STer and could play some decent CB in a pinch. He started a cgame for an injured Bailey in 2009 I do believe.
Also, we only have 4 active CBs on the roster, I would be all for this signing. |

Per DenverBroncos.com -
http://blog.denverbroncos.com/denver...e-squad-moves/ - Tony Carter and WR Greg Orton (from preseason) were signed to the P-Squad. I really hoped Carter would have replaced #36 Bush on the roster because if Champ, Andre or Harris get nicked during a game, currently Wilhite would come in for nickle. Wihite's crap and the reason why we've played three safeties in dime. The Orton signing is a little strange since we already have #16 Goodwin, who's a very good receiver, but I guess they wanted a little bigger target around. |
