Default Lesser Evil?

With the influx of Tebow Super fans springing up nation wide, I find it difficult to talk football with more and more "Broncos" fans. Which got me thinking..

Would you rather talk football/Denver Broncos/Tebow with 3 Chiefs fans, or with 3 hardcore Tebow lovers (KO5K, Agamoron, MacGruder, Alpha... to name a few)?

Damn! That's a tough one. I'd have to go with Chief fan. At least they're not smart enough to put together meaningless pages of stats.

Easy, 3 Tebow worshipers.

There is no guarantee that the Chiefs fans won't also be Tebow worshipers. Example: Bob.

This is a most interesting thread, for me. Living in the KC market, I'm surrounded by Chiefs fans. I also watch football with some hardcore Tebow fans. So, I actually encounter this dilemma almost on a weekly basis. The Chiefs fans that I encounter are more objective about Tebow. They are MORE than willing to point out his flaws, but they admit that he gets the job done. That's the conversation I want to have...

My RL Chief fan friends are awesome and not at all a representation of the trolls on the Mane. Good people and very self-depreciating and reasonable about their team.

Tebow fans are none of the above. (And I mean Tebow fan transplants from Florida.) Most of the Tebow fans who were Bronco fans first are not as stupid.

First three names that popped in my head were MacGruder, Alpha and Broncow. Only the last one is somewhat readable as his posts haven't hit 1/2 page yet. I will take a KC fan not named Boob.
I like Tebow but his baggage isnt his religion but the Gator fans that he brought. Hell, I would talk upcoming interviews with Cutlerfan for his loverboy than to talk with MacGruder or Alpha.

What is it about Florida? Is it the water? I remember Finheaven. If you used the word "Marino" and didn't put "I worship" somewhere in the sentence, they ban you.

What confusing is how die hard they are for Timmy, and yet they have to throw tarps over the upper deck at the Jags games cause they are such horrible fans... They refuse to see any weakness in Tebows game but hate Gabbert unconditionally.

Trick question, right?

Tebow has no "lovers," he's a virgin (prounouced wheer-gin).

And it is plain old stupid people that can not see the difference of WTF is really going on.

If said fans are Tebow only fans, then they are either from Jacksonville (his high school area) or Gainsville (UF) or just plain Florida Gator fans/alum's.

Now with that said, If someone is a Tebow/Gator fan (Which sells out every home game in Gainsville) what in the world makes you think they have to be Jacksonville Jaguar fans

I live in the Los Angeles California area and freeking hate, let me be more exact here, I Despise the Raiders. It does not matter where you live to be a fan of a team, so saying Jacksonville has a freeking thing to do with Tim Tebow fans is just plain ignorant.

I do not know what is worse... The stupid such as yourself who hate the hate, or people that are now Bronco fans just because of Tim Tebow. Either way, the recent fan base of Denver has pretty much sucked and have become a bunch of whiney fans. Adding a new group to the fan base could only help.

Frankly, I enjoy talking NFL with fans of any team if they 1) have a sense of perspective/humor about their own team and 2) are knowledgeable about the game beyond your basic "watch the home team once a week, form opinions about rest of the league from 20 min of SportsCenter" coworker.

Perhaps the worst NFL viewing experience of my life was watching the 05 AFC championship while sitting next to a loudly opinionated "Broncos fan" who knew jack **** about anything going on. Of course my frustration may have had more to do with watching Roethlisberger carving us up all afternoon...

I gotta say watching Tebow super fans is quite a social experiment. Anybody who has ever wondered how Hitler could command so many Germans to do the things they did, just have watch Tebow fans for the answer. I truly think they believe he is the second coming of Christ. It’s quite interesting to watch them operate with literally one mind amongst them. But talking football or rationalizing with them, fuggetabout it!fficeffice" />
