Default Perhaps the greatest graphic in the history of graphics!

I'm stepping up my posting game, by request. And, I'm trying to put as much hyperbole in my posts as possible.

This is from It's All Over, Fatman. It's a flow chart showing how Kyle Orton ended up in Kansas City, and how we ended up with Tim Tebow, Von Miller, Demaryius Thomas, Eric Decker, Robert Ayers, and John Fox.

I lost any sense for the accuracy of it at about the fourth layer of boxes (although since it came from It's All Over Fatman, a great site, I assume the math works); but it's awesome, regardless.

I was arguing with my brother the other day about how Josh McDaniels could end up in the Ring of Fame someday. He wasn't having it; but he was well on his way to being drunk, so I discounted his opinion.

Now, I have a flow chart to kick off Josh's candidacy.

What baffles me is why did McDaniels draft Tebow? Tebow is not a fit in a McD offense ....

So this is like a picture of the epic Woody Paige sentence that drew so much attention on the mane earlier this week.

Don't kid yourself. This graphic is MUCH easier to read than one of Woody's obtuse, comma-laden sentences.

I don't think it's fair to say that Tebow in Fox's system is what anyone envisioned for Tebow when he was drafted.

I think McD probably visualized what a team could do with a wildcat-type look with a true dual threat QB. I believe that potential is still there. Our offense isn't particularly built to support that though. My hope is we win enough to secure Tebow a full offseason and the time to build the team a bit more to his strengths, while he uses the time to improve enough to succeed in more conventional formations as well.

And a note to those who say you can use a RB with the same effect.... There are no RB's in the league that can throw as well as Tebow.

you sure about that? I'm pretty sure McD's offense was based on Florida's spread offense...

FWIW, many people consider the following graphic by Charles Joseph Minard (depicting Napoleon's invasion of Russia) to be one of the greatest graphics of all time, certainly the greatest statistical graphic of all time:

Yeah, the graphic is missing this part of the soap opera.

- Jay Cutler breaks thumb in attempt to show team he isn't a p***Y (to atone for his action in the NFC Championship Game).

- Chicago is desperate for a replacement QB.

- Orton thinks he'd be the perfect man for the job, asks for (and receives) his walking papers.

- Chicago makes a waiver claim for Orton, but Kansas City (with a crappier record and higher waiver priority) gets him instead.
