Overall, despite Denver's recent 4-1 streak, the team is just 17 of 69 in total on third downs - a 24.6 success rate.

San Diego quarterback Philip Rivers has been beaten up on the field and dissected off of it for his 17 interceptions and four fumbles.

Of any quarterback in franchise history that's faced Denver more than three times, Rivers has the highest rating ever (105.6) other than Jacky Lee, who only threw just 48 passes in seven appearances against the Broncos in the 1960s.

Rivers has completed 203 of 312 passes (65 percent) with 19 TDs vs. seven interceptions in 12 career games vs. the Broncos.

The Broncos will attempt to win a fourth straight road game for the first time since the 2006 season when they travel to San Diego.

Denver already holds victories over Miami, Oakland and Kansas City as part of a stretch of five of seven games away from Sports Authority Field. That span ends next week with a trip to Minnesota.

BY THE NUMBERS: 9 — Scoring drives in the fourth quarter or overtime led by Tim Tebow in Denver's last half-dozen games. That streak began in relief vs. the Chargers on Oct. 9, when Tebow scored on a 12-yard run and tossed a 28-yard scoring pass to RB Knowshon Moreno. Tebow's Hail Mary pass was unsuccessful to culminate that five-point defeat.

SERIES HISTORY: 104th regular-season meeting. Broncos lead series, 54-48-1. San Diego won the road game in the two-game annual set in the AFC West, 29-24, on Oct. 9 in what was Tim Tebow's audition as starting quarterback in the second half. San Diego has won nine of the last 11 contests in the series, with the Broncos dropping four of five at Qualcomm Stadium.

"It's just learning how to close. I think our guys are developing that the more they play together. I think they understand that most games in this league come down to the fourth quarter. It's just being able to not blink and finish in that situation, which there were a couple games we didn't do that that could have gone the other way. Developing that confidence and mindset has been a process."-John Fox

"We've probably been in a few too many (third-and-longs), We've probably got to be a little more aggressive on some third-and-longs."-Tim Tebow

"Better execution. All 11 guys have to do a better job, whether we're running it or throwing it. Better route technique outside separating from tighter coverage. It's really coming down to doing a better job. We have to help (Tim) and make some adjustments here and there as the game goes along." –Mike McCoy

"There's been no secret to it. He's won the games, they've been the team in this division. We have to go there expecting (Rivers) to be the quarterback he's always been against us. . . . He's thrown some interceptions. That doesn't mean they'll keep happening. That's how we have to look at it. If you've been here, you know what he can do."-Champ Bailey

"Some people are taking more chances defensively against him, but they're the same team. They're explosive, but I think people are just challenging
him more. We've got to challenge him too and create some turnovers. But I don't think people should be fooled. He's the same guy, throwing to a lot of the same receivers to do what he's done to us in the past." -Mario Haggan

John Elway's house was egged last week. Police said 2 of the 12 eggs hit the house, they suspect it was Tebow.

The police report continued to say that the suspect originally had only hit the house once in the first 11 tries, but down to his last egg in the carton, the suspect was able to throw it over the garage, down the chimney, where it ricocheted off the mantle, through 3 doorways, and struck Mr. Elway in the mouth.

The police noticed two sets of footprints walking up to the house but only one set leaving...to expedite escape, that is when Tebow carried Jesus.

I'll take 2 INT's and one fumble. 4 sacks, 8 knockdowns on Rivers.

I predikt that our opening drive will look good. But once we hit 4th and short, McCoy will get all conservative. And from the second drive until there are 5 minutes left in the game, he'll maintain ultra mega conservative mode.

Who's wit me?

If McGahee is not at least 98% healthy, I don't want to see him on the field.

Unless that one is a dropped touchdown or kills a huge drive.
