Default Close Enough For Government Work

Quote:
Now for this week’s “Close Enough For Government Work” award. It goes to the Congressional Budget Office. They say that O’s $787 billion “stimulus” created somewhere between 500,000 and 3.3 million new jobs Liberal media outlets are touting the report as vindication that the stimulus worked. Pretty good spin, considering the graph below. This means anywhere from $238,000 to $1,574,000 for each stimulus job created! With the same bucks, got a feeling small business owners would have done a wee bit better.

the stimulus created somewhere between 500k and 3.3m jobs? How does the fed gov justify this kind of huge descrepency in numbers?
