Let all those who stand for honor be remembered. Even when their leaders proved false, the service of the soldiers was true.

Thanks to those who fight to keep us safe.

It's time to stand up for our troops rights not to be sent into battle without congressional approval and all the tools they need to quickly win and come home.

Let's put America’s national security first, and concentrate on securing OUR border instead of the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan. Our troops deserve better than nation-building and the world police. Our troops are being spread too thin all over the world by globalists.

I understand the core sentiment, but today is not a day we use to politicize, 'cause our military follows orders without question which makes our Military the finest in the world.
Think about donating something to Wounded Warriors, or volunteer at a VFW to show your thanks. It's tough to understand the real sacrifices made, regardless if Vets serve/ served in action. Just think of getting an order to leave your family for long periods of time without the option of bringing them with you. That alone is a sacrifice many would not choose to make.

If you have a vet in your family, just a call to let them know.

The guy down the street, just a nod as you're driving by.

The soldier in the airport, a handshake.

It doesn't take much effort to show support and thanks.

Now on to the bickering!

Happy Veterans day and a salute to all of those that have served.

Businessweek had an article on veterans experiencing 30% unemployment compared to the national average of 9%.

Right now they are renaming bases that were named for soldiers who died for our National security in Afghan names. They are preparing to hand over real estate to a regime poisoned with corruption and illiteracy.

Our National promise to them should be not to put them in harm's way for corporate greed but apparently that is too political.

Tailgate is right. Take a minute to say thanks.

Absolutely shameful.

Cue the right-wing "save the CEOs" club telling us they're just lazy and don't want to work.

We need to remember what we fought for and ask ourselves do we currently have it?
