the Lions could be a feel-good story around the league if they had any brains. instead they are acting like jackholes with chips on their shoulders everywhere they go. the schadenfreude will be strong when they miss the playoffs.

For the longest time, you didn't have to worry about the Lions. I know what you're saying. It sucks to live in the KC area in years that the Chiefs are doing well...

Its cool, this state needs the Lions to be good. And they can be cocky now but they will be out of the playoffs in the 1st round.

What makes you think they will be in the playoffs, they are not going to win the division and no easy path to a wild card.

Tebow had like 75 yards rushing. and while it technically counts as rushing yards, it isn't the same as having our RB run for almost 200. on a day when a RB rushes for almost 200 that means the opposition got gashed and beat up all day. when it is the QB who has a lot of rushing yards, usually it isn't a good thing.

Also, there were too many 2nd and 8 or so's. I want to watch more replay to see if I can tell whether they were disrespecting Tebow with 8 in the box. That was the death of SOB in Den.

I've just got the replay thing from nfl.com. I'll have a drink after work. The Saints played horrible too, and may have played themsleves out of the Dome for the playoffs ... even if they make them. But I want to confirm what I thought I saw this a.m.: He didn't suck as bad, but the lions D disrespected the pass knowing he couldn't make adjustments at the line

That's not true. We were leading the league last year, but McFadden was not the leading rusher because we would run for 200+ yards using EVERYONE... We still do this...
