I've said all year we aren't as bad as some people think. Aside from the GB game we have been in it until the end in each game

So, Miami is 0-6 and STILL is slotted to pick 3rd?

That's OK. I still feel confident that Indianapolis will find a way to win a game or two before it's all over. They have too much talent on the offensive side of the ball...

What's funny is they were second until today. Even when they lose they can't win.

Morris Claiborne, Trent Richardson, Dre Kirkpatrick, etc.

Quite obviously we probably won't pick tenth, but if we did, there would be some serious talent around.

What do you mean obviously? That's about exactly where I think we'll pick in the next draft.

Didn't really drop too much with the win today. I think we would pick at #7 had we lost today.

Still think we pick somewhere in the top 5.

We won't be in the top 3 for sure. Indy, Miami, St. Louis...those three suck on another level.

Jacksonville and Arizona are both probably worse than Denver.

I'd say that Minnesota and Seattle are about the level that the Broncos are at.

So I'd put us between 6 and 9, which should be enough to score the best available player at one of CB, RB, MLB, DT, or DE.

i'm glad the suck for Luck nonsense is over, at least for Broncos fans. we never had much of a chance anyway, and now we have 2 more wins than Indy or McLouis will end up with.

I could see us in the 6-9 range as well. Just think we'll end up in the 3-5 range. Minnesota looks like a much better team now that they made the QB switch. Guess we'll see first hand with our game @Minnesota. And Jacksonville plays Indy twice. Something has to give there. Same thing with Seattle, Arizona and St Louis.

We'll have a chance to get a top talent though for sure. Would be disappointed probably if we took a MLB that high tho... If we can get a dominant HB with our spot, I'm all for that. Need a DT badly as well, although it's unlikely any will be worth taking in the top ten of the draft.

I wouldn't doubt that the team could rock enough fire to get up to .500 by the end of the season or at least play that sort of ball. A great deal of this hinges on Tebow's development, but it seems that his teammates are inspired by his play and vigor on the gridiron.

That being said, Denver will be in a terrific position to add a starter to their ball club with their first selection. The odds for a top DL, LB or DB is quite good. I can see an argument for a top flight OT, but I think we can get more of an immediate impact with a defender. Denver can play their cards right and end up with three starters right away at the aforementioned positions if they play their cards right. I think the depth-quality and round versatility works out very well for those positions.

I worded that wrong. Yeah, it's very possible that we'll pick tenth. What I meant was that the order of teams is probably going to shake out differently, but no matter who picks before us, there will be a good amount of talent available.

So we're on pace for about 5-11. Somehow I think we might actually do better than that.

Kaylore I just don't even understand the reason or meaning of this post at all. It has absolutely positively no meaning other than to point out we have to suck some more to get a better pick next year is that right? Does it advance the case of the team this year? Maybe just maybe we move up the ladder and win more games, then what? Has this what itís come to? Trying to figuring out what our LOSING PERCENTAGE is so we can be in the Luck sweepstakes or for some other canít miss college prospect?

What kind of fans thinks this way? Are you suggesting that we speak in terms of defeats instead of victories so we can live to fight another day another year? You havenít responded to one of my post in over 2 years because the of clan you belong to in here but honestly? What about this year? Iím just saying

What were the 1st round draft numbers you gave in the Walton/Beadles thread Khan ... that maybe 11 of the top 15 prospects are offensive players?

I say why fight it, go with T-Rich or somebody, then load up on D elsewhere.

Here's a firestarter: If Tebow succeeds I think we should trade Ryan Clady. Get a real MLB maybe, DT and/or a high pick. Tebow is a lefty, therefore stands to reason LT doesn't have the same live-or-die importance. The Rams have given up the MOST SACKS in the league this year ... dangerous with a very talented but very brittle young QB. If they miss out on Luck, I think they'd pay big-big for a proven All-Pro LT.

If we get a top 10 pick, it's got to be DT or CB that high. Obviously we need help at DT but CB is going to be a huge need for us also. Champ ain't gettin' younger and Hill is average and I haven't seen anything great from the others. I think a nice top CB prospect would be a great pick as well as a DT. There's no way we pick another LB with our 1st pick. I'd bet serious money against that.
