Default Little love for Champ...

Kept Marshall the usual non-factor that he is today. Held him to less yards than Revis did last week. This after essentially shutting down Jackson last week.

Dude is playing great football, even if he's not making a lot of highlight reel plays.

Marshall's longest catch was against Wilhite, too.

Didn't pay too much attention to the outside but when I did I noticed him being very physical. Marshall is a big dude but Champ did well for an old man.

This is the main reason Im not in favor of keeping DJ at $6MM next year. That money would be better spent with Wesley and a stud CB opposite Champ. Or another top notch D FA.

Supposedly, next year is a good year for FA CB's... as well as the draft. I'd be in favor of a FA pick-up and using the draft pick on the front 7.

I believe it's 5 million. DJ is hardly our biggest cap worry. See: Dumervil, Elvis

Champ wasn't on Marshall when he was playing in the slot, they kept him on the outside from what I could see on TV.

It looked so smart when we wrapped him up, too. Maybe they can extend it or spread out the money somehow. He's been a disappointment since signing the contract, obviously because of his health. Too bad, because he's such a critical element. Hopefully he can get things together, physically.

Dawkins deserves love today, too. The old man was flying around. No quit in him. It's a shame he's not just a couple years younger.

The announcers were picking on Wilhite, but they threw at that guy all day long. I actually would need to watch again... but I don't think he played nearly as badly as some people were saying. He made at least one nice 3rd down pass defense in the first half. He's a second tier guy, so expectations have to be kept in check.

I thought the whole defense played very well today.

The D played well today and kept us in the game, but Miami had a ton of drops especially early on.
