Default Carson Palmer

He was 8-21 today with 116 yards passing. And his team scored was SHUTOUT.

Carson Palmer got the L.

Tim Tebow got the W.

Yet, somehow I have a feeling that Tebow is going to face 100x as much scrutiny than Palmer.

And it is already apparent with Hodge's comment.

But, but Palmer throws a pretty ball though and does not talk about his faith in public.

Like I said in the other thread, I can't believe there were some Bronco fans that were anything other than ecstatic for the Faid giving up two high round picks to acquire Carson Palmer. They are an 8-8 ish team this year with McFadden and now they are an 8-8 ish team with their best player hurt, no high round draft picks and a shot QB.

Winning.

Palmer threw a pick 6 too. I didn't see much of the KFC game but Oakland had like 4 or 5 INTs which led to Boller getting pulled.

Palmer looked bad from what I saw, he looked like an old dude who had not played organized football in 10 months

As someone who has lived his whole life in Cincinnati I warned Max and the other Raiders fans not to get ahead of themselves with thinking Palmer was the savior.

I really like the guy and wish he hadn't got hurt that year vs Pitt. in the playoffs but since that moment he has never been the same and then add the elbow.

Carson Palmer threw 3INTs in the 2nd half vs the Chiefs. The last Raider QB to throw 3INTs in a half was Kyle Boller in the 1st half

Yeah well Palmer didn't have the luxury of OTA's or training camp / preseason reps with the starters. Plus, they just pretty much threw him in to start the second half even though his team was down by double digits. What did they expect, some kind of water-to-wine miracle?

So, the reason he didn't start was because he was obviously not ready to play.

So they throw him to the wolves in the second half, when the game was already out of hand. They should have just sucked up that loss with Boller.

Brainiacs, those Raiders.

On another note...how about Phillip Rivers too. He's never been an INT machine.

9 in 6 games is crazy.

Carson Palmer is very comparable to Tebow when you consider how little organized prep Tebow has had since last season. He didn't get much last season either..

I actually thought he looked okay for having about 4 days of practice. It got me a little worried because even though i don't think he's great, and the raiders paid way too much for him, he looks like a significant upgrade from Campbell. Just watching the way they let him throw the ball around it seemed like their passing game is going to be more threatening.

Palmer was 8/21 with 0 TD's and 3 INT's for a sparkling 17.3 QB rating.

He made Tebow's game look all-pro.

Palmer will get better but it won't matter. Raiders won't win anything with him and they are out a first and 2nd round pick.

The last time that KC recorded a road shutout was in 1973, against Dan Fouts and the San Diego Chargers. Epic stuff...

Awwww it's ok big guy. Poor raiduhs sabotagin' themselves in all sorts of ways! Only worry about the things you can control, you'll feel a lot better.

PS what the F is with all the butt hurt coaches? Jim Schwartz last week. Hue Jackson this week.
