Default 2012 Presidential MatchupsCain 43%, Obama 41%

http://www.rasmussenreports.com/publ...ntial_matchups

Quote:
Whether Herman Cain’s surge in the polls is temporary or has staying power, he’s enjoying a big enough bounce to take a very slight lead over President Obama in a hypothetical 2012 matchup. At the moment, the Georgia businessman is the only Republican with a lead of any kind over Obama, although former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney has held a similar advantage several times and is currently trailing the president by just two points.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of Likely U.S. Voters shows Cain attracting 43% support, while Obama earns 41%. Given such a matchup, eight percent (8%) prefer some other candidate, and another eight percent (8%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

You do realize how stupid it is to put down national trends in this regard?

Anybody with a lick of sense knows Cain gets rained on by Obama in a General Election. Cain drops a turd in key races in the West, Midwest, Northeast and probably flushes Florida too. He isn't going to be a popular option anywhere with a high Hispanic population.

I'm Hispanic and I'll vote for him.

Can't beat the all you can eat lunch buffet. And the dessert, wow.
I'm just glad he has made an attempt at a fix. I don't know if it will work but at least it's something. I also appreciate the fact that he's not a career politician. Hopefully he hasn't been tarnished by the lobbyist. Him and then Paul. Nobody's perfect but I feel these guys want real change. And not that fake stuff that was promised.

Polls don't matter for this IMO. Make a list of the conservative states Obama won last time and check those polls. Then make a list of the big swing states like FL especially. Obama basically on a campaign trip right now masked as his job bill support tour. He's such a joke. Hardly any Presidents start campaign trips this early. He's a joke and is on his way out.
