Default Cops Will End Occupy Wall Street Protests

Just got an email from Washington. Mayor Bloomberg will call out the police on the Occupy Wall Street protests tomorrow and drive them out of the city.

Damn! I was hoping the National Guard would get to practice a little target shooting on them, like the good ole days.

The occupy Wall Street has been cooped and the plan is to do activity that invites a police crack down so the media whores can report see your government is keeping America safe from home grown terrorists. All part of the plan folks.

The real movement is Occupy the Fed happening now all around the country mainly in Dallas

Notice there is almost no reporting of this grass roots movement......

They could try to occupy the Fed in Richmond, Va....but they'll just get out the mace and the rubber bullets and put those cry babaies in jail where they belong.

I'm going to enjoy watching your reaction when you figure out what is really happening if you ever do that is.

If this is true, it's the exact wrong thing to do. Bloomberg should just let the OWS die off on it's own. Instead by cracking down on these protesters he's giving the liberal left a reason to cry fowl.

This will create bad publicity for NY and in turn, it could insight more protests.

What... a bunch of people wanting a hand-out complaining? Get real.

Thr Richmond authorites aren't going to put up with that kind of nonsense. I know much about the Fed there in Richmond and the attitude around it.

the protests against the banksters has been coopted by all sorts a freaks.

notwithstanding this, clearing them out to "sanitize" is typical rich-boy tactics.

freedom of speech? ok. not on somebody else's PROPERTY.

is it just one person who's creating a sanitation nightmare in which taxpayers will have to pay? is it one person who's committing crimes (hint:there's more than one crime documented) in the name of protest? is it one person who's blocking entrance to banks and other businesses against the will of those who would patronize it? didn't think so.

Bloomberg has to consider what's in the best intersest of NYC, not his own personal political lunacy.

BS,OWS has stated they'll get brooms & what ever needed to clean up after themselves. last I checked the streets are paid for by taxpayers such as those protesting.

I wonder how much cleanup was needed after Tea Party gatherings? Always interesting how the typical liberal claims to care and worry more about the environment than anyone else, yet leave the most mess for others to cleanup after they are done with their protests and parties.

Who gives a crap what they 'state'? The park rules are no tents, sidewalk obstructions, and other things but did they abide? So what makes you think they'll clean up out of the goodness of their hearts?

Exactly where are they gonna get street sweepers, large hoses, pooper scoopers, re-seeding supplies, grafitti remover/power sprayers, etc. They sure as hell aren't entitled to this stuff, let alone from the city of NYC.

Rubber bullets and tear gas polish up nicely.

oh, and spare me the 'these people are taxpayers' crap. even if they are, they are NOT entitled to priveleges, yet they ask for special treatment. denied.

So, you're all for freedom of speech, as long as it is sanitary?

I do. they don't need to abide as far as i'm concerned. this crap about cleaning up is just a way for bloomberg to try to violate our civil rights with no public outcry.
streetsweepers aren't used in NY on occasion, they're used regularly to keep things clean protest or no protest.
rubber bullets may polish things but they'll also make a movement grow that much more.
also it's not a privilege,IT'S THEIR ABSOLUTE RIGHT UNDER OUR CONSTITUTION to do what they're doing.

Dude, Bloomberg has already said they are welcome to come back when cleanup is done. The park is being cleaned in thirds, which means 2/3 will always be available, so stop being so paranoid. it's not about civil rights, it's about common good. filthy streets, parks and cities can be serious with regard to disease, vermin, etc. if the demonstrators really were gonna clean up, they'd be doing it as they go. the fact is that they could care less about the toll--fiscal, health, and aesthetic--that the city takes because of their lack of regard.

is it their right to crap on a cop car? is it their right to litter? is it their right to turn public space into a landfill? no, it is not.

I'm guessing you are speaking out of experience seeing teabagger rallies turning public space into "landfills".

if you're gonna argue that this occurred, you have the burden to demonstrate it or retract it. i KNOW you've never attended a TEA party, so i know you can't speak to it with any credibility.

but you oddly ignored my arguments that bloomberg has said you can return after cleanup and that public health and sanitation is now an issue that must be dealt with for the greater good.

finally, these losers are on private property. they are essentially squatting. do you or the dems REALLY want to establish a new rule in which it's ok to do this? rest assured, it will be used against you in the future, so please re-think this. if it were a public park, this would not be an issue (though the others i've listed would still be), so why not abide by that little thing called 'the law' or take it to a public park?

#Occupy is/has been coopted. #occupy should occur in each community, and address local issues as well.
