I was wondering if anyone knows anything new regarding Demaryius Thomas' injury-it sure seems like a long time for a player to be out with a hurt finger-he's been out now for about, what-4+ weeks?

I don't want to call him a bust, but it sure seems like there are other NFL players that are playing with injuries that are much worse-do you think it is legit?

He would still be out anyway due to the achillies.

I believe I heard a target of week 7 on the radio. I think they may have been a bit optimistic about his recovery from the achilles, and subsequent ability to get back into game shape. He should have been on the PUP.

^ Frankly it just makes sense to treat him with kid gloves and make sure he gets the proper time to recover, especially with the bye week a few days away.

When Lindsay Jones was asked she said he was expected to practice after the bye. This was last week.

yes he should have been on the PUP list. would have saved a roster spot..
As for now I'd rather him be completely healed from BOTH injuries when he hits the field..

if that means another year on IR, ok by me he has loads of upside and it is not like we do not have other WR's .

Let the kid heal as far as I'm concerned. They should have shut him down for the year, based on the Achilles injury alone. He very well may turn out to be a bust, but he's one of the few players on offense Denver has with the physical tools to develop into an elite play maker.

Who Just may become the next or teh better BM..

Please tell me if mikey never drafted players that had a hard time seeing teh field..

IF you have a hard time let me know and I'll point them out for you..

At least the majority of Joshes draft choices are playing at this time and most are starters..

more than y'all could say about mikeys DAFT choices excpet for the year 2006 and frankly most of them were primadonna headcases..

By most he means 4 out of 19 are getting major playing time for us. Only one looks like a star in the making and that is Decker. 8 picks in the first two rounds of two drafts and our best player out of all that crap came in the 4th fing round. The only job I would give McD is a scouting/draft job. He gives me a list of players he thinks are good and I stay the F away from them. It's a win/win for both of us.

Josh really was a special GM.

4 #1's and 4 #2's over a two year spawn and we get this. At least Josh hit on Eric Decker though. Still surprised he fell to the 3rd round, even with the foot injury.

No reason to rush him back. We're OK at WR when Brandon is healthy, and I'm thinking we can make our Superbowl push without him this year.

I hope he's not as fragile as he appears, though. Seems like a talented, likable kid.

Yup, when after two draft cycles you have more rapists than Pro Bowlers, that's usually a sign of some war room oppsies. I still hold out hope that DT turns out to be a beastly no. 1 and Decker continues to develop as a quality 2.
