Scanned through those Citi documents... can anyone verify that they're actually legit? Not that I don't put it past those scumbags, but the out-and-out boldness of it, it seriously seems like something from Bizarro World or satire outta the Onion.

You need to know two things about Citigroup:

1. The bank is engaged in a major way in laundering drug money. For profit -- and because they know that as the biggest bank in the US they will get away with it.

2. Citigroup is deeply involved in the US intelligence community -- i.e., the CIA. Citigroup manages the Black Eagle Trust -- a vast secret collateral trading fund that spins off hundreds of billions of dollars for the CIA's covert ops.

Don't believe it? Check out the following website run by a former banker named David Guyatt:

If you do a validity search, nobody denies their legitimacy. In fact, the WSJ came out with a supportive take on the whole concept:

Of course, Kapur says there are risks to the Plutonomy, including war, inflation, financial crises, the end of the technological revolution and populist political pressure. Yet he maintains that the “the rich are likely to keep getting even richer, and enjoy an even greater share of the wealth pie over the coming years.”

All of which means that, like it or not, inequality isn’t going away and may become even more pronounced in the coming years. The best way for companies and businesspeople to survive in Plutonomies, Kapur implies, is to disregard the “mass” consumer and focus on the increasingly rich market of the rich.

A tough message — but one worth considering.

http://blogs.wsj.com/wealth/2007/01/08/plutonomics/

Sound like they're all in favor of it.

Occupy Sacramento Protesters Struggle to Explain Why They Are There:

When the CBS reported asked the organizer of the movement what the 300 protestors were doing there, his response was “right now its kind of vague..as it stands right now that message team will reveal that tomorrow morning.”

Others listed a litany of random complaints, some with a tenuous connection to being “angry over corporate greed.”

Another protestor said into the camera, “I‘ve heard it’s anti-capitalist; I’m a socialist, I’m a Marxist communist.”

Actually you are speaking to the power of the movement and you don't get. The fact people from all walks of life and every political persuasion are angry and understand they are being marginalized and the great country they love is being systematically cooped to serve not the citizen but the globalest blood suckers shows the breath and depth of the anger and activism unfolding before your eyes.

You angry llama are supporting your enslavers and they love you for it right up until it's time for you to be eliminated.

That's gaffney-level paranoia-fueled moronic dribble.

These protests are organized by a bunch of socialists and communists who want "fundamental change" to the American system of gov't.

You may enjoy the enslavement of socialism and/or communism, but we have a constitution in this country. Don't expect us to want your socialism.

It wasn't co-opted by the far left, it was organized by the far left. It never represented anyone else.

The Occupy Wall Street protests were originally called for by the anti-consumerist group Adbusters.

Your link doesn't show anyone proposing a 'Day of Rage' protest on the same day until August 17th.

Facts obviously aren't your strong point.

So, drama llama, I take it you agree with the WSJ advice on the plutonomy and believe that those who would disagree and protest against such a system are misguided?

Of course, Kapur says there are risks to the Plutonomy, including war, inflation, financial crises, the end of the technological revolution and populist political pressure. Yet he maintains that the “the rich are likely to keep getting even richer, and enjoy an even greater share of the wealth pie over the coming years.”

All of which means that, like it or not, inequality isn’t going away and may become even more pronounced in the coming years. A tough message — but one worth considering.

The banksters don't have to lift a finger to rebut the protesters - they have useful dupes like DBruleU to do it for them.

Everyone wants to compete with our rich people, worry about how much more they have then us, but that isn't the way I think. I feel like I am competing with the middle class of Europe, people in china with money, etc etc. I know every country will always have an upper class and most of us won't be in it. The last thing we want IMO is to scare our rich people. Nothing worst then that IMO. You do that and they may just take their ball home and not play.

These protestors are mad because rich people are are obscenely rich, i get it. It sucks to not be rich, but sucks even worst to be out of work or losing house. I do wish that Obama had spent the stimulus more to save homeowners like Bill Clinton suggested he should have, but instead he really just pissed it away. Like most things so big it got unfocused with tons of waste. The high speed trains just a joke, and I love the idea of trains.

Now Obama wants to **** people who make 200 grand a yr lumping them in with the super rich. Now that he has the left all protesting the inequality of the system he can maybe pull it off. The fact none of you believe this is the Oct surprise is funny.

Political watchers always know something is coming from an incumbent around October. So Obama makes everyone think its his jobs bill, while really that is a disguise for his true surprise, a socialistic protest movement that blames the rich, blames the banks, for everyones problems. Obama is very cagey and a huge liar.

I think most just want the wealthy individuals individuals and the global corporations to bay their fair share of the tax burden. People are pissed when they hear such and such billionaire pays less a % of income in taxes than his receptionist.
