Hopefully Broncos are turning that around. They went quite a few years without finding starters in the draft. That led to reaching in FA to try and fill out the roster.

IDK, 2010 is looking like a pretty solid draft class... I didn't like the Tebow pick, but he did well for us... then you have 4 starters - Thomas, Beadles, Decker, Walton...

Teams that don't draft well have to sign more free agents in an attempt to patch the holes on their rosters. Teams that draft well don't have very many holes on their rosters so they don't need to sign many free agents. It isn't rocket science.

This. Its well documented that his drafts were becoming a disaster. I dont know how anyone could point to the McD drafts and ignore the Shanny drafts.

mcd's 09 draft sucked, the 2010 draft is looking awesome right now. our #1 and #2 WR as well as 2 of our starting oline..

Walton and Beadles seem to finally be developing into NFL-quality starters, so I would tend to agree.

I cannot get NFL videos to play. ESPN is fine, NFL won't play. I have updated my flash drive and nothing works. Yahoo videos will not play either.

Yeah totally agree, not to mention if Manning wasn't on the market we'd have our starting QB too.

The '06 class was a good draft class too, but some of the keys stars from that class are in Chicago.

The '06 draft class gave McD the ammunition to even make the class of '10 possible.

Without '06, '10 never happens.
