According to the Final Score from yesterday, he was short.

I'm supremely disappointed in the lack of polling options on this thread.

That's not what I was getting at. Obviously nothing can be done now. I was just wondering why we didn't challenge

The replay from the other side of the field showed his knee down and the ball short of the goal line (at least to me...and apparently the refs)

Seriously though, the poll choices should be:

Yes!
No!
Maybe...

It's very difficult to challenge a play in traffic. You have to have conclusive evidence to overturn it. There was no conclusive evidence. Fox would have just wasted a time out...

You get a penalty for challenging a play like that now.

The officials in the booth (as well as those on the field) concurred that there was nothing to review.

I didn't think he scored but I don't think I payed any attention to replays of it to get a closer look.

I can only imagine what was going on at the time. The humanity.

we should have challenged, we took a timeout anyway on that play, might as well been a challenge to waste the timeout

You are wrong.

ONLY scoring plays are automatically reviewed. Since he didn't score and it wasn't called that way, it was not reviewed by the booth and they would not have received a penalty for challenging the play.
