We should be trying out the backs the Titans are trying out.

Aaron Brown and Clinton Portis

more for Aaron Brown because I think Portis is done.

I like JJ and thinks he deserves a shot over someone off the street.

It's pretty common practice when teams hit the injury bug. McGehee hasn't been the primary back for a couple of seasons. It makes me wonder about how bad knowshow's hammy is, though

Isn't Lawrence Maroney still available, or did Josh trade a 3rd to his bong for him?

I would welcome a vet back who can catch the ball and be a scat back on 3rd down and will take the vet min.

We just need a depth guy to take 5 carries and maybe a couple passes a game while showing JJ the ropes.

Same here. It was actually kinda nice to not have to watch someone try to "juke" tacklers with spastic side-to-side motions and still get tackled anyway.

has anyone picked up John Clay after he was waived?

i liked the guy in college and with his size and strength think he would be a good pickup. we saw in one game that if this offense has some size and power at the RB position the running game looks decent. prefer size and power to quickness and agility.

It's more they think probably Moreno going to be in and out of lineup all yr, JJ a bkup, but if another guy goes down they will be in trouble. No surprise to me we all knew the rbs were super thin unless Moreno broke out finally. He's not going to, he's a bust, so RB now a problem just like last yr.

I've been saying this for a few years now, we need a Sproles type of back. Somebody small, fast and in open space can just squirm and sprint for those big yards.

Meanwhile we hold onto Quinn...I bet Decker could throw for 200+ and beat 2 for 18.

More importantly, he wouldn't factor into the "Tebow" conversation.
