Default Need help - Defensive gameplan Madden 12

I'm trying to develop a gameplan for my Broncos franchise in Madden 12 - so far there are very minimal amounts of blitzing done by Von Miller in the Broncos standard gameplan on Madden.

Can someone help me with the rundown on when Miller and Doom line up as DE's and Ayers kicked inside to DT? I've seen us use that formation in Preseason along with a number of Miller blitzes but......

Example:

3rd and long - Miller at LDE Dumervil at RDE Ayers kicked inside

Etc.... Hope this makes sense and thanks

Can anyone help? Looking for ideas on whatever defensive alignments you've seen that we have shifted around.

I would also not mind seeing some way of messing with the D.

I'm really hoping on-season mode doesn't include Madden game planning.

You seriously need to play with the sliders, unless you're playing online in which you can't use sliders. You're forced to play on Pro, All Pro or All Madden which are all bugged.

If anyone is interested in sliders for offline franchise let me know and i'll post the ones that i'm using currently.

Here's the base lineup I go with:

LDE: Von
RDE: Doom
DT: Warren, Bunkley
OLB: DJ
MLB: Mays
OLB: Woodyard
CB: Bailey, Goodman
FS: Moore
SS: Dawkins

In the Nickle formations, quick sub so that Woodyard and DJ are your LBs in, the dime formations quick sub so that DJ is the LB.

I manually control Von from his DE spot, but I audible him to spy every play, stand him up, shift the DL to the side I'm moving him from, and pick a gap to blitz. By audibling his assignment to Spy, you can take control of another player if you need to and he'll stick with the QB.

They're not a great defense and can be really had if you play a team with fast RB who likes to run toss sweeps - but if you get a pass happy opponent (most online Madden gamers) you can get after the QB pretty good.

You got anything between pro and all pro level because I seem to be stuck some where in between

sliders?

I would say that on online franchise you can't have enought fast D-backs. I generally will make a free safety my Nickel Back... Delmas, Moore, Huff.... Peterson is a monster there.

They're overall might be in the 70's at corner but they put up huge number both when you play and sim. It's just nice to have a corner that can make plays in the run game in nickel packages..... Agility is a key stat for this position too.

Plus, if you actually play the games and don't sim too many. Get Calvin Johnson. I can not stress this enough. There is no price too high for him.

Just trade for a great defense. I am playing two seasons. I made a ton of trades in one that I am playing with a friend and Madden still hasn't made them realistic. The first trade I started with was Lloyd for Suh, Fairley, and a future first. I also got Cushing, Patrick Peterson, and Earl Thomas. This all makes it much easier to play defense.

The future picks are a joke. My friend and I agreed not to do this but you can do stuff like give up a current second for any crap teams future forst, second, and third...

Keep with what we have and manually control Miller on D from SLB or WLB. I got DJ 20+ sacks playing WLB. Hell, I had Jarvis Moss in the hall of fame back in the day...and I only play All-Madden difficulty. Just line Miller up next to Doom or Ayers and rush the ****ing QB the sec it's snapped.

*BOOM*

Hell man, you could trade your first for another team's first, third, etc...and when they have a ****ty record at that. Kind of shocked that it's apparently not fixed yet. Then again, EA just milks Madden.
