Default Knowshon Out

AdamSchefter Adam Schefter
RT @Boomerknows: is this your way of telling me Knowshon Moreno wont be playing? ... Looks like a Know-go Sunday for Knowshon.

Guess we will see what old man McGahee has left in the tank.

Ok, I'm done.

I've defended Knowshon for a while. I was wrong.

At least we'll get to see a RB go more than 2 plays without taking himself out

I'll still defend him as a running back.

He can't stay healthy though.

He's talented, but he has shown that he cannot carry a full load.

Don't know how you can say he's talented tho? He's mediocre/average at best. He's had 1 100 yard game as a pro, I believe, there's no talent there. There's walk on guys that are better than he is. Yeah he can catch the ball out of the backfield but so can 200 other guys out there, and 80% of them are better running backs.

The guy is trash.

IMO it is more the conditioning program tha has caused issues for the last decade..

we had a run on Groin injuries in 08 then it moved on to hamstrings IIRC then it started the muscle tears as well as Achilles the past couple of years..

I suspect somethings not kosher in strength and conditions area of the team.

AS for Moreno IMO him dropping weight this year is not a good thing..
and he has had hammy issues forever.. needs to get a different conditioning guy in charge of his hammys..

I hated the pick... but he WAS a consensus top-fifteen pick. And he has talent... he's good at running in tight spaces and is strong for his size. He blocks well and catches well out of the backfield.

I still maintain that he will be a good 1a/1b option for us.

Worst pick Josh made in my opinion...

In a league where the hb is become less and less important , and with Josh running a system that really didn't use a hb in the normal way why he picked a hb with that high a pick I never understood.

Three picks that should've been used on defense no doubt about it

Yeah - Thomas is another guy that's just going to let you down. Everyone says he has "all the talent in the world" The guy can't stay on the field if his life depended on it.

Anyone else want to keep backing this horse. Actually, if Knowshon was a horse, he would have been shot by now.

Good call. Napolean Jr felt he had to have his own version of Brandon Marshall.

This makes:

A. Smith- Bust
Moreno- Bust
Thomas- Always injured
Tebow- ?
McBath- Bust
Quinn- Bust

...all 1st and 2nd round picks.

He's definitely not Seabiscuit... At least with McGahee you have a guy that isn't going to try to avoid contact and break it outside losing even more yards than if he had ran into the non existent hole.
