Those who do not know history are doomed to repeat it...I'm having a hard time putting Orton in front of Griese, Buerlein and Kubiak in terms of best to worst. Frerotte was troubling as was Chris Miller...but I dare say Orton is not as elusive as Griese, Buerlein and Kubiak. Stunningly, I'd say Jake Plummer has been the best qb in a broncos uniform since Elway. I think we can all agree that Cutler could have been, but that will never be a standard of measure - we had him in his young immature years. If we allow elusive orton to escape as a free agent where would you place him in terms of top 10 Broncos QBs all time?

There shouldn't be anything "stunningly" about this. Plummer perfected the bootleg, and that caused trouble for a lot of defenses...

I would assume roughly 100% of broncos fans would put Plummer @ #2.
Although Bubby stepped in nicely in 98. lol

Yep, Plummer also led the Broncos to the playoffs and to an AFC title game.

I'd put it as
Elway
Morton
Plummer
Johnson
Cutler

then its a multiple tie between all the rest. TT has no place since he has very limited time under center....he is a null until he gets a chance.
