Was that Umber or Karstark that Tormund killed?

Most of the Free Folk and GOT Reddit stated he would die from an arrow to the eye. One of the posters there (who got banned or disappeared) was pretty much spot on about everything that has happened this season. How he knows, I have no idea.

Very satisfying. You guys b**** about when things are uncomfortable or annoying, but this series has to have those moments. I do think some are to fill time, but I see them all as set up for stuff like this. I don't just mean plot set up, I mean "the viewer will appreciate this more" setup.

Who let the dogs loose?yeah, Sansa. She kept on telling Jon to get more help and told him nothing of the Vale OFFERING to help. She didnt even ask the first time, so why would they deny her the 2nd time. If she took the help the first time it was offered and told Jon about it they could have waited for help to arrive and recruited more house by telling them they had a huge force on their side instead of a puny force of wildings. They could have planned a better strategy and alot more of Jons allies would be alive, but instead most of his forces got wiped out and Littlefinger now has the biggest army in the north. Jon still might have charged in like an idiot but he might not have been given the chance.Ramsey might have chose not to meet him on the battlefield with Jons army outnumbering his.And with Wun Wun and a huge army a siege would have been a cakewalk

yep. i'm eating my words about this season. that was an episodic masterpiece. it's rare to actually have a feeling of vengeance quenched on a television program.

Best tv show in history.

From the dragons destroying ships to the battle of the bastards. What an epic episode. Can't believe there's so few episodes remaining for the series.

Also RIP WUN WUN.

Great episode, but I did expect slightly more from this season. We all know the next episode will be a lot of filler and then end with a major cliffhanger.

How about telling Jon an army is coming to help then he can make a strategy around that instead having all his troops die needlessly. Anyways I would have liked Ghost to have killed Ramsey. But with the way Direwolves are dying, I dont blame Ghost for lying low. Would have been nice to have seen him kill a couple guys.
She playing the great game. Sansa ensure the Starks wins but now Snow doesn't have the forces loyal him if there is power struggle.

The only reason he even is attempting to get Winterfell is because Sansa demanded it.

If Ramsey knew about the knights of the Vail he would have stayed in Winterfell and would have been a very prolonged siege. Regardless of why...they played Ramsey perfectly.

Two seasons, perhaps 20 episodes, but the writers were thinking shorter seasons for 7 & 8.

Still a lot of action left.

Hopefully a prequel comes out with Dunk and Egg tales or perhaps even a mini-series on the events of Robert's Rebellion.

It's so wildly successful, I don't see why not.

Warned? Sansa: we need more men. Snow: duh, but there isn't anymore men. Sansa: should I tell him about the huge force coming to our aide..... Nope let Jon think there is no hope of winning.
