Why do you think littlefinger wants Sansa dead

Because he's a creepy SOB. And I do think he had feelings for Caitlin, but that did not stop him at the end of the day to try and murder her kids. He loves the Iron Throne more than he loves any person.

True. And that might explain the poison. So maybe arya gets him

My hopeful ending for her is teaming up with nymeria and just Shinobi'ing around Westeros till she's old and grey

That's entirely possible. Or she meets up with Gendry and they end up having babehs and taking contracts for murder for hire on the side.

It's the letter Cersei forced Sansa to write to Robb when Robert was killed and Ned was framed for the murder of the king.

Yeah, and it also means that Jon (likely not his first name), is the true heir to the Iron Throne and King of Westeros. ALL IN THE FAMILY.

That would be some creative and good writing if they did that. But it would be even MORE creative and better if they had it where Arya knew Littlefinger was a sneaky and conniving loser (which we already know she does) and set him up by letting him think he baited her.

Oh that's weak. I'm sure she'll throw a fit for an episode and figure out Sansa was forced afterwards.

Right! They look like two annoying brats the last two episodes.

I was really impressed with Jamie and Brohn's swimming abilities. Swimming in metal armor for 1 mile with 1 hand equals the BOSS.

Fairly annoying.

"Hey, look at that, Jaime Lannister, maybe the key player in this entire war just charged us but fell in the river with his compadre. Let's just assume he met his demise and clear the premises as quickly as possible. We're late for the Tarlyque!"

Too be fair, he was wearing armor and was sinking pretty fast at the end of the prior episode. Even if they were looking for him above, they wouldn't have found him as he jogged his way across and under the lake. So the fact that he walked along the lake's bottom to get to the other side with Brohn without being seen is just pure skill and common logic..

1. It was a tiny body of water.

2. When you watch the commander of your main opposition go under water encased in steel, the hunt is on. Either for a man or a body. The idea that in this condition, under water, he somehow emerged beyond the reach of a cavalry unit is low, low comedy.

3. The fact that they never even addressed it, or had anyone mention "Hey, whatever happened to that Jaime Lannister guy who charged you?" is just proof that this late-series avalanche is undermining the plausibility of everything.

Why doesn't Dany just fly a dragon over the wall, see the undead for herself, pluck one out of the snow, and be back before supper?

Oh I completely agree. The whole bit is ridiculous.

I am also really struggling with the time needed for travel this season.

Not sure if it is lack of source material or just the need to cram in everything to wrap up the show. Either way, a lot of aspects are a bit disappointing currently. Does anyone know what level is Martin's involvement in the show at this stage?

As much money as HBO has, its not exactly a bottomless pit. All things considered, i think the show has been fantastic this season. Yes, they've had to play a bit fast and loose with the passage of time, but i think its unavoidable. They've gotten a bit convenient with the storytelling (Gilly!), but man, you're not at the edge of your seat throughout the episode? I love this show.
