Right on.

I believe this team will work out the kinks.

Unfortunately another week of another average Roby. Looks like we need 2-3 new bodies in the secondary.

Why not send a 2nd or 3rd round pick to Seattle? Yes, you have to pay him, but I don't see why not. Stew looks awful this year. And at CB, I can't see paying Roby $10m+ a year.

why would a team that traded talib for a 5th rounder need secondary help?

Rather get Peterson. Simmons and Parks are the future at S.
Let Stew and DT walk at seasons end.
Offer up AZ a 2019 2nd, a 2020 4th and Ray or Barrett. They can pick.
Bring up Holland.

If the Cardinals are actually looking to trade Peterson, the Broncos better go and get him. The way I understand the cap, all the Broncos would be on the hook for is his base salary, not any part of his prorated signing bonus. He makes $11 million this year and next year, and $12 million the year after. That's a great deal for an All-Pro CB. That's the going rate for a good CB. Peterson is having a HOF caliber career. He would solve the Broncos secondary issue that was created when they got rid of Talib (which was just dumb). If Roby is the third best CB behind two All-Pro CBs, you're good. That's awesome. When he's your second best CB, you probably have a problem, especially when whoever is the 3rd CB pretty much sucks. Getting Peterson would allow the Broncos to play like they did the last few years.

Peterson for $11 million, Hell Denver should have just kept Talib like everyone of us said at the Time Elway cut him.

That's true. I'd really like to get a real explanation on why Talib was shown the door. We've all be speculating.

If they could get Peterson, it would be a great deal because he's four years younger than Talib. But really thinking about it, I wouldn't be surprised if Peterson wanted his deal redone. His contract at this point is well below the market value of an All-Pro CB.

I've posted it before, I'll post it again.

... There’s a 9-7 season, and then Gary Kubiak steps down as coach, and Vance Joseph steps in, and the two quarterbacks continue to struggle. Talib is at the forefront of a rift between a world-class defense and a stagnant offense. Something important had been lost, something Elway had taken for granted. ...

... Resolved to move forward with Joseph in 2018, Elway empowers his second-year head coach, both in staff decisions and in the draft. A handful of longtime assistants are let go and replaced for the most part with coaches from Joseph’s extended network. Joseph and Elway go about choosing the kind of players who wouldn’t lose hope. All but one of Denver’s 10 draft selections in 2018 were team captains at their respective schools. First-rounder Bradley Chubb was a two-time captain at N.C. State, and second-rounder Courtland Sutton was a three-time captain at SMU. ...

"...when you’re in a losing skid you need more leadership in the locker room, to pull you out of a dive. I didn’t feel we had that, so one of the main goals was to find more of that, so we can prevent a skid like that from happening. We wanted to get that maturity level where we felt like [the young players] could help us early. Last year proved to me that our locker room needed to be a little bit stronger.” ...

Yes, if it's the choice between ET3 and PP, you absolutely go for Peterson.

Our daily or multiple daily Elway bashing from Wolf. When is the last time he posted anything of substance. It certainly isn't worth the time to look through many months of posts to find one.

Eric Reid signed with the Panthers. I actually like our safeties, but would have loved a vet presence like Reid.
