DJ is back. And Dahl is out 6-8 weeks with a broken foot.

This is one of the images from Dahl's latest x-ray.

Seriously, what is with this guy? I don't think you could try to get hurt, and have more weirdly consistent injuries than David Dahl. I feel for him. He could be an animal, if he could sustain good health.

Brook Pounders just had a GREAT outing. Gives up a leadoff single. Walks a guy who is just trying to give you a free out with a bunt. Three-run home run. Double off the top or the right field wall. Nice job, dude.

It's not just Brooks Pounders though.

Seriously, the Rockies are in a BAD BAD situation right now. As good as their starters have been, they are not consistent in going deep, they really struggle with pitch management. The Rockies have NO ONE (with Ottavino on the DL), I mean NO ONE that can bridge the gap from the starting pitchers to Wade Davis.

Seriously, how in the **** did the Rockies go from on the the best bullpens in the majors to one of the worst bullpens in the majors?

TV for tonight's game?

Tonight's game is supposed to on KDVR Fox 31, I am guessing its a national Fox broadcast with the 5pm start, similar to last week's start against the Giants on ESPN, a 5pm start.

But.... Woman's golf is on, and doesn't look like its going to end soon.

STOOPID

EDIT: They cut away in the home markets for this game, so we shouldn't miss anything.

What a train wreck this season is becoming.

I don't think I have ever felt this despondent over a Rockies team that will remain in 1st place, or be 1/2 game out of first place in this early part of the summer.

Are feelings of utter hopelessness justified for a team that is... if you look at the standings... right in the thick of things?

Reminds me of the Denny Neagle and Mike Hampton days with the money we dumped on Dunn, Shaw, and McGee. What sucks too is McGee was alright last year. So was Rusin.

Wade Davis, go ahead and take your seat with the rest of the bullpen. You suck ass just like the rest of them.

STFU Spilly. It the postgame, he is still talking about needing to play better at home to make the playoffs. I mean, seriously, Spilly, STFU! This team, with THIS BULLPEN, isn't going anywhere. They all suck. ALL OF THEM! And the only one that hasn't sucked is on the DL. This team isn't going anywhere unless they cut loose every single one of them and hope that some replacements are halfway decent!

And Bryan Shaw needs to go on the DL, whether or not he has an injury.

There has to be. He's never had a stretch anywhere near this. And it's not like it's Coors Field that's getting in his head. He definitely sucks more there, than he does on the road. But he sucks on the road, as well. And if it is Coors Field that's bugging him, he needs to figure it out. He's got 2 1/2+ more years on his contract.

Wade Davis has to have at least 3 or 4 saves this season that he only got from Bryan Shaw blowing big leads.

A little bit wild, but if he can manage to keep his era under 3 (its currently close to 2) he will earn his way into a more prominent role in the bullpen especially considering how bad the rest of them suck.

I dunno... I mean, he's always been very streaky. He's been on fire the last 2-3 weeks, but, how is that any different than his tendency to be very streaky?

I'd be shocked if Cargo is above .260 by the end of the year.

He does have the ability to hit the ball as hard as anyone in the league, save for Stanton and Judge. But, he tends to let that talent get to his head, and cause prolonged, and very ugly slumps.

There's a reason I have practically no social media. I remember what I was like as a teenager and I must have made some retarded forum posts though.

Wild pitches prevents the Rockies from sweeping the Reds.

Dunn loaded the bases in the 8th without getting an out, ****ing terrible.

Oberg gets out of it, but allows two to score, so Oberg does, what Oberg does best, allowing inherited runners to score.

And Davis...2 wild pitches allows a runner to go from 2nd to home on a batter that struck out. On to extra innings. ****ing terrible.

UPDATE: Miraculously, Brian Shaw pitches 2 scoreless extra innings with the help of a double play in each inning. Can the Rockies offense respond in the 12th?

UPDATE: More miracles. Rusin pitches scoreless 12th. Onto the 13th.

UPDATE: It's over. Rusin gives up home run in 13th. The bullpen actually pitched well, other than Dunn, Davis, and Oberg. So, wasted arms for no win. And as good as Davis has been, he's actually been consistently shaky for the last few appearances. Not a good sign.

Don't look for good play from CR`s. No pitch, no hit at worse of times. Just inconsistent as your crazy GF.

Was listening to them on the radio while driving around picking up clients stuff. Was about ready to pull my hair out listening to them blow another game. They actually play better on the road then home this year but this one was frustrating!

Is there another team in the league with a losing record at home who's above .500, let alone leading their division?

They haven't figured out how to put it together yet. They need to coming out of the ASB.

If this were a franchise that wasn't consistently average to terrible, I'd say they're setting themselves up for a really good run towards the post-season with most of their wins coming on the road, with good pitching and a top of the league fielding percentage, helped with timely hitting that seems to be trending up of late, even as the pitching has been erratic. Pitching and fielding are how you survive thrive in the postseason.

However it's the Rockies, so we know they'll find some way to collapse - likely to Dodgers, and probably in a really disappointing fashion.
