Avs look like a completely different team. Bednar is a much improved coach or rather the roster is more properly constructed for what he envisions doing.

The progress is incremental but I am liking it.

I like that you can see tangible evidence of the team getting better.

I hate that it's going to cost us Dahlin though.

The Pens will miss the playoffs unless they put it together soon. Got waxed by CAR.

But it's going to give the Avs something good in the 2019 draft. Ottawa keeps their #1 pick this year (top 10 protected) and the Avs get the Ottawa #1 in 2019. I doubt Ottawa turns it around next year after their downward spiral this season. The Duchene trade will keep on giving!

What a game by the Avs. 7-2 against their nemesis. Mack arguably the best player in the league right now. It's crazy to think how good the Avs are becoming right now and they still have two 1st rounders and Makar/Timmins in the pipeline.

Zadorov's fight with Staal was icing on the cake.

MacKinnon is #2 in the league in scoring with 52 points. He's been a man possessed for the last 2.5 months. He's one point away from last years 53.

I hated the pick when it happened, I was hoping to be wrong after his first season, I was pissed off when he regressed and had injury issues, I thought he was a bust(relative to being the #1 OA) with the way he played early this year...glad to be wrong.

We've finally put together a nice win streak.

Hopefully we back now.

Hopefully the momentum will continue after the break.
Really excited to see the team continue to develop.

Also excited about us going to sign Connor Timmons to his ELC.

Avs beat the Quacks, 7 in a row and another good game by Bernier. Always good to see Anaheim lose.

This feels like the beginning of something real.
Before it had been, be a ****ty team and then the new coach comes in and all of a sudden we make the playoffs and have no way to sustain it.

This feels like we have multiple franchise stars and prospects in the pipeline to continue feeding the big league club and a coach in place who will be a long term solution.
