Free agent WR Matthew Slater visited the Steelers last week.

Joining Pittsburgh would be quite a change for Slater, who has been with the Patriots since 2008. The Steelers generally prefer special teamers who can also play defense, which has never been Slater's MO. Pittsburgh is also strapped for cash with just over $2 million in available cap space. It seems likely that Slater is just leveraging the Patriots for a higher salary. A five-time All-Pro selection, Slater is entering his age-33 season.

Free agent OT LaAdrian Waddle visited the Patriots on Friday.

Per ESPN's Mike Reiss, "a deal might not be far off." The Patriots could be interested in him as a replacement for Nate Solder, who signed with the Giants last week. New addition Matt Tobin will also be considered for the Patriots' opening at left tackle.

Steelers signed LB Jon Bostic, formerly of the Colts, to a two-year contract.

Bostic started 14 games for Indy last year while earning PFF's No. 12 run-stopping grade among inside linebackers. He'll be tasked with replacing Ryan Shazier, who is still recovering from a serious spinal injury.

Free agent C Russell Bodine will visit the Bills on Sunday.

I guess. I don't know man - just feels like they aren't crazy about anybody who is available - and they really don't have much to spend when you break it all down.

It would appear that the cap is far from "fictional"...

Team is broke! In reality I think they know they aren't ready to compete for anything and are just bargain bin shopping.

Brady makes up for a lot of mistakes. Brady will not be there sooner rather than later....

Yahoo Sports' Jordan Schultz reports free agent Ndamukong Suh will visit the Rams.

Suh has already visited with the Titans and Saints. Suh told Schultz he realized how much the Titans have to offer as a playoff team with a formidable defensive line and the same can be said for the Rams. A combination of Suh and Aaron Donald, who combined for 16 sacks and 134 total pressures last season, would solidify the Rams' line with two disruptive presences versus both the run and pass.

Free agent LB Pernell McPhee is visiting the Redskins on Monday.

McPhee joins a long list of defensive players the Redskins have played host to during free agency. This is the first time the former Bear has been linked to any team since being released in February. He appeared in just 36 games the last three seasons with Chicago, recording 14 sacks. He will be 29 when the season begins and is likely looking at a low base contract if someone gives him a second chance as an outside pass rusher.

Cowboys re-signed LS L.P. Ladouceur to a one-year contract.

It will be Ladouceur's 14th season with the Cowboys. He hasn't snapped a bad snap since initially joining the team in 2005.

The Rams are in contract talks with free agent DT Dominique Easley.

Only 25, Easley's career has been marred by injuries dating back to college. He missed all of 2017 with a torn ACL. Easley's contract should be affordable, and likely for one year. He'd return as a sub-package interior rusher in L.A.

Free agent C Russell Bodine will visit the Bills on Sunday.

The Bills are looking to replace Eric Wood, who retired in January due to a neck injury. Bodine has started every game since arriving as a fourth-round pick in 2014, but is coming off a poor season that saw him earn PFF's No. 32 grade out of 38 qualified centers. He'd be a noticeable downgrade from Wood.

Sources report that the Denver Broncos FO is still recovering from St. Paddy's Day pub crawl festivities and will resume football related activities as soon as the fog has cleared.

It looks like we cleared Miller's money for James but Miami changed their minds and kept him after they couldn't get a FA target they were after

Why we're not using that money is beyond me. It's disgusting at this point how very little of an effort our FO is putting into making this team better.

Why use it though just for the sake of it, if they feel the contracts aren't worth the outlay, keep the money, they can carry it into next season or extend players that warrant the investment. This free agent class was poor, the players that remain bar 1-2 are awful.
