I bet if the forecast called for golden showers instead of light showers he’d be there early with bells on.

Latest is he wanted to go to the cemetery in Paris by car, but "SS said no". The crap this POS throws is unbelievable. Childish nonsense.

He lives 2 miles from Arlington National Cemetery and didn’t visit yesterday. He stayed inside tweeting.

Why didn't he hitch a ride with Macron? Or Merkle? Couldn't the SS gotten a Hummvee?

I think Dotard Don is depressed, and so he is sulking. He has had some very bad news the past week or so. And Mueller. My god, Mueller is coming. And everyone is beating on him. Poor boy.

I hope he drowns in his own shyte.

1. What elites is he bucking?
2. If the SS pulled Trump, why did he ok his aides going? Why didn't the German or French SS stop Macron or Merkle? Why couldn't they have coordinated? Why say it was rain?
3. Why couldn't he run by Arlington when getting back into DC form Paris? He could've missed the ceremony, but saved/built some good will just to make a night time appearance?

Anybody who buys the idea that the Secret Service pulled him out because it was raining lightly is a numbskull, or pretending to be one.

Were it not for double standards, Republicans would have no standards at all.

Lawrence O'Donnell makes some interesting points tonight, suggesting that the POTUS may be in spiraling into depression in the wake of the elections and continuing losses by Rethugs in late counted races. He's skipping all kinds of things, and barely pretending to work.

I agree that he is slipping into a near vegetative state brain-wise. But, given his low bar, it's hard to tell for sure.

As I said above, he is sulking, pouting and being obstinate. All the sycophants around him are thinking of bailing, and the rumors of another Mueller indictment has the rethug crowd on edge. He really did act like a schmuck and a snob in Paris, and there was no parade. The preening is old crap and few leaders actually take him serious anymore. The election results crushed his fantasies and he has a real fugged up world.

Sucks to be him even more than usual.

“I could have done that. As you know, I just left the day before the American Cemetery, and I probably think, and that was one where it was raining as hard as you can imagine, and I made a speech at the American Cemetery the day before and I probably, you know, in retrospect I should have and I did last year and I will virtually every year,” Trump said. “But we had come in very late at night and I had just left, literally, the American Cemetery in Paris, and I really probably assumed that was fine, and I was extremely busy because of affairs of state, and other things.”
