Gort said, "wanna bet that the zombies soon hear all of Rick's AK-47 shooting and turn to follow that noise, allowing Glenn to slip under the dumpster?"

Then some camera guy's eejit sister said, "Ricks gun was out of ammo and it was a revolver." So, wanna tell me how you got me? I get that you don't know much about football, but posting stuff like this, getting called on it, and then trying to look smart isn't cool. It's ok to say, "Ooops, you're right. Good point." In fact, if you'd do that once in a while around here people would probably like you a whole lot more.

I love how everyone is so worried about how Glen could possibly escape, and how getting out of that alive would be so unrealistic. All of this on a show whose entire premise is completely unrealistic.

Every fictional universe has its own internal logic. Just because the zombie premise isn't realistic doesn't mean no aspect of the show has to adhere to a sense of real world logic. If you asked Kirkman or the revolving door showrunners on this show I'm sure they would tell you they are aspiring to tell a story about how people would realistically respond to the central premise if it were really happening.

This show has always been loose about handling its own internal rules of logic. For example the walkers are only drawn by gunfire when it's convenient for the plot.

he shot himself in the head. it takes a few minutes for your whole body to shut down. his heart could easily still have been beating for another moment or so if the spine wasn't affected.

that all happened in a matter of seconds, not minutes.

Glenn survived. they'll kill him later this season. if this had been his real death, he'd have been on Talking Dead last night. was he?

Absolutely. Out of every other detail in that scene, that fact alone is really the only one that bears a shred of reality.

If there was ever proof of the walking dead then Peyton Manning 2015 is it. Excellent example. You finally said something smart.

I like Manning's post-game pressers when he lapses into his best dementia patient persona. Classic. Wanna talk about who's really out of bullets? That's Peyton. Who's the guy laying on the ground next to a dumpster? That would be self-sacking Manning laying behind the O-Line.

Can you say ski town again..lol
We're just a couple of amazingly good plays by the Denver defense away from being the Raiders, babe. I wish Denver was a ski town. It would save me a ton of gas and time. One thing is for sure, though: after Peyton is gone, you'll be gone, too, and we'll still be here rooting for the team. I wonder if Peyton can still remember which team he plays for? (He does seem to throw the ball to a lot of different teams.)

The other guys body fell on top of Glenn, it's not his own guts being pulled out. Also Glen to big of a character to go down like this. Also if you read the comics Glenn still has something big to do before he dies.

Also Glenn was not on the talking dead like every other killed character appears on.

Glenn somehow lives, not sure how, but somehow. I'm guessing he gets covered in walker guts as they eat the other guy, and then they don't smell him anymore, and then somehow the herd leaves.

But that would be kind of lame. He's dead. It sucks.
This is exactly how I think of it happening. You see Glenn looking down as the blood is squirting up. You don't see if it is his blood. Only deal is how he escapes about 200 walkers. No one else is around and no way someone is going in to save him.

This show always gives characters a send off when they die. Especially of late there's been a formula to it... usually the episode revolves around them. Beth finally got a multi episode story arc, Tyreese died slowly and had visions, even Noah was going to learn the perimeter fence building trade... there's no way they don't give Glenn one of those when they kill him off. If they really wanted to sell the fake out they should have given him a fake send off.

Remember when Michonne said something along the lines of "When you're covered with so much blood that you don't know if it's your blood, walker blood, or your friend's blood"? Well, that kind of makes Glenn's scene even more ambiguous. Another big factor was that Glenn wasn't coughing up blood as he was being eaten and disemboweled, because those weren't his guts. Yet. If he stays really still then he might be able to get out of this if some huge diversion gets the herd to leave that alley. A lot of people think Maggie is pregnant, so if Glenn dies then maybe that's what Gimple was referring to when he said that we'll see parts of Glenn in future episodes. Lots of speculation, lots of miles spreading the entire group out between Abraham and Darryl 20 miles away, Rick outside of town, and the rest of the group back in the partially destroyed Alexandria. Plenty of room to explain Glenn getting out of this. Lots of things are too inexplicable to believe regarding plot holes, so this would fit right in with the fantastical exploits that most members of the group have lived through over and over again.

just found out what the 90-minute episode is about...

...it's going to be a back story on Eugene.

...in particular, it's going to be the full back story on how he got his mullet. (yes, he was apparently a Chefsplanet member pre-apocalypse!)

...so we're gonna have to wait to find out what happened to Glenn.

Show is groundhogs day. Characters don't learn anything from the past. It kind of insults me at this point.

They shouldn't even be walking outside their walls without being covered in zombie guts. I mean season 1 you learned this. Then there's everyone emotionally running away on their own or splitting into tiny groups. Zero survival instincts in a show about survival, where the main character annoyingly talks about survival all the time.

Welcome to why I make a kill hit list every season for each character and actively root for their demise. Makes it so I can still enjoy the show with my wife, albeit we're in it for different reasons.

Rick went to get the RV so he could get between the part of the herd drawn off by the horn and Alexandria. He's closer than you think.

Yep, the show somewhat recovered after the horrible season 2, but has devolved into an endless repeat of the same despair porn story over, and over, and over.

Survivors find a new home, try to live there, then get ****ed over and have to leave. Rinse, Wash, Repeat.
