You're going to love going 10-6 or so and losing in the playoffs every year, then not being in position when the major QB prospect here and there is available at the top of the draft. You've already gotten a taste of it with Lynch. And you'll all love Keenum until he can't carry the team when it matters.

We FINALY have the the generational talent at QB we've been missing all these years.

Your turn to suffer Denver. (and in the back of your mind, you know I'm right)

Thatís cute. Did you think of this between getting your mullet permed and rotating your tires on your trailerís roof? A couple of things standout. First, it is very obvious your trollish behavior shows you have been tormented by your teams 4 total playoff wins in the last 48years, and you get excited quickly, easy, and way to early. Slow down for Bob.

Trying to imagine a life where the thought of an unproven second year quarterback is your hope for redemption for generations of perpetual failure: Depression on par with the Grapes of Rath.

And why do you think the Chiefs have had such a bad playoff history minus 1993 with Montana?
Retread after ****ty retread.

Whether Mahomes works out or not, they FINALLY changed philosophy to do this the right way.

QB is the end all be all 95% of the time. Chiefs had Neil Smith and Derrick ****ing Thomas in the 90ís and did nothing after Joe left all bc of ****ty retread QBís.

You have a strange definition of "generational talent".

He's played one game in the NFL, and you're convinced he's Elway.

For all you know, he's Todd Blackledge.

Did the Chiefs trade for Aaron Rodgers? Did I miss something?

The Broncos won a Super Bowl with the worst QB play in the league. So Iím pretty sure the main reason the Chiefs havenít had playoff success in so long is that they just suck.

Mahomes NFL stats:

284 yards passing - 0 TD - 1 INT - 76.4 QBR
Lower passer rating than Lynch in his rookie season. Lulz.

Manning had 2 TDís and zero picks the last time he played Brady. Thatís hardly bad QB play. His physical skills diminished but his brain still made a huge difference.

Feel free to ignore the QB position when Brady, Big Ben and Manning have ruled the entire conference for about 15 years.

Manning's final stat line from the 2015 playoffs:

55.4 completion percentage
179.7 yards per game
75.4 passer rating
2 TD's
1 Int

Only thing he did well was not throw picks. Chiefs had way better QB play with Alex Smith the past four years, and could only win one playoff game. Because they suck.

Pretty sure that one playoff win was because the AFC South had to have a team represent the conference in the playoffs that year

I think Mahomes will bring an entirely new flavor to the Chief's annual one-and-done. It will be piquant and yet spicy, with woodsy tannins, but the same aftertaste of fail.

Not reading the thread, but you won't win anything because of Andrew Walter Reid. Mahomes has yet to do much of anything in the league yet, certainly not take a team to a CCG. You have arguably the 4th best QB in the AFCW, who might be able to grab hold of the 3rd spot, should we falter with Keenum. Amazing that we're in your head so much that our 4th place finish last year worries you.

Be careful guys, this may be a historic moment for Chiefs fans. They havenít won the SB since man walked on the moon. But this is not the typical annual offseason Super Bowl for them. A lesser known fact is they havenít witnessed the Broncos have back-to-back losing seasons since man walked on the moon either. Just the mere possibility gives them grand delusions itís the Broncos ďturn to suck for 15 years.Ē (Did you notice that even in their wild imaginations we canít suck as bad as the Chiefs have in reality.)

This is why OM should have a hard 100-post rule before starting a thread. The dude is counting chickens (Chiefs) before they hatch.

That said, OPs an idiot
Starters played like 1-2 series.

Backups played the majority of the game, i didnt even recognize some of the dudes out there.

Denver losing that game got us Chubb so it's cool.

Broncos win SB32 with Elway at 123 passing yards or so & a pick.

Win championships w defense.

What have the chiefs done to fix their defense? Serious question.

Asking a young QB to play keep up in his first year as an nfl starter is usually a recipe for disaster. I saw a Titans team make 2nd half adjustments in the playoffs and shread that defense on the ground and with clutch 3rd down throws by Mariota.

Here is the queefs schedule to begin the season:

At Chargers. Has to play a very good defense right off the bat. Rivers is no bum.

At Steelers. Asking Mahomes to keep up with Big Ben on the road is asking too much.

49ers. Garropollo has legitimately proven more than Mahomes has at this point. Not an easy game.

At Broncos. Really looking forward to this game. If you are expecting the same Broncos the chefs saw last year, you may be greatly disappointed. The VJ factor is the only question mark.

Jaguars. Good luck with the jags defense.

At Pats. Belicheat will not let Mahomes beat them.
