Those kids were selling cans of soda, bottles of water, and chips too. They raked in $200 undercutting that festival before they got shut down.

The mom must've heard about the kid who made $6k to pay for his brother's medical bills selling lemonade, and saw a quick payday. Then the loser had the gall to report it to the news, after she tried to cheat the festival.

Hopefully this kid and John Bowlen can hook up in some kind of mentoring program.

all they had to do was ask for donations instead of "selling"

Kids set up near a guy that has to pay all the permits, expensive set up and possibly employees and not at their driveway or corner of their street?

Colorado is no longer purple

Its getting deeper and darker blue everyday.

California has seeped deep within the average Coloradans skull.

Property values will drop hard and fast in Colorado soon enough.

Most people remain loyal to their home team even when they move elsewhere. Politics has nothing to do with that.

Silly post.

Not a fan of Denver area at all... I’ll keep my visits limited to the western part of the state.

I agree. I might start rooting for a local team as a sports fan but if they conflict with my favorite? Sorry but I am loyal. If you moved from Colorado, you changing to the local teams?

How in God's name did Hancock get reelected the first time with a POS kid like that? I don't miss Denver at all and Colorado less and less. All the money in that state goes to that region and the rest of the state is told to kick rocks.

Because his kid didn't get arrested while he was seeking reelection?

And actually, you're only about 10,000% wrong about where "all the money" goes. Thanks to some (liberal) members of the state house and senate, major gains have been made in rural infrastructure, including earmarks for schools, hospitals, and roads.

This in spite of Denver being more heavily populated and supplying the majority of the tax base for the state.

When I come back to visit I spend time in Denver and then in other places including the San Luis Valley. That is one of the more rural and relatively poorer sections of the state. They aren't seeing all this infrastructure investment you're talking about.

That's because a lot of it was just passed in the legislative session that just ended. It will be implemented over the next 12 months.

the rural areas of this state have been overlooked for a long time, but a lot of the representation from there hasn't done their jobs.
