According to CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora, the 49ers, Bears, and Browns are among the teams "hot after" free agent Allen Robinson.

La Canfora adds the Panthers and Ravens also have interest in Robinson, but the salary cap could pose a problem for those clubs. Additionally, the Jaguars haven't closed the door on a return. Robinson is coming off a torn ACL last year but is medically fine and should have no problem landing top dollar. The 49ers and Bears, specifically, could really use Robinson out wide. Both teams have young quarterbacks and imaginative, offensive-minded head coaches.

According to CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports the Ravens "remain focused on" free agent Donte Moncrief.

La Canfora mentioned in the same report that Baltimore is in the mix for fellow free agent Allen Robinson, but the Ravens may not have the cap space to get it done. GM Ozzie Newsome may have to dip into the second and third tiers of the free-agent receiver market in his effort to overhaul Joe Flacco's receiving corps. Monciref may be best served to take a one-year, prove-it deal.

CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports the Jets, Titans, and Colts are "in play" for free agent Dion Lewis.

La Canfora adds the Patriots are "going to fight to keep" Lewis, but he's fully expected to price himself out of the Patriots' comfort zone. The 49ers could also get involved as they attempt to look for a different back to upgrade on free agent Carlos Hyde. Lewis could command $6 million per year.

CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports the Rams are "working actively" to re-sign free agent Sammy Watkins.

Watkins is reportedly "open to staying." La Canfora mentions Watkins possibly settling for a "bridge" contract, likely on a one- or two-year deal to continue to rebuild other teams' confidence in his ability to stay healthy and effective. Watkins' "market" to this point has been pretty quiet. Most teams likely view him as a fallback plan to fellow free agent Allen Robinson.

CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports the Seahawks and Falcons are "very interested" in free agent Austin Seferian-Jenkins.

This is in addition to the Jets "very much wanting" to keep him. ASJ reportedly turned down a two-year, $12 million deal from the Jets earlier this offseason. Evidently he wants to test the market. ASJ is only 25 and has cleaned up his life off the field. He had a career year last season for the Jets, even though he averaged a pitiful 7.1 yards per catch. There's plenty of untapped upside in his 6-foot-5, 260-pound frame. Seattle is likely moving on from Jimmy Graham.

Chargers signed CB Casey Hayward to a three-year, $36 million extension through 2021.

Hayward will receive $20 million guaranteed. Hayward has been a second-team All-Pro in consecutive seasons and is one of the most underrated cornerbacks in the NFL. He led the league in interceptions in 2016 and was Pro Football Focus' No. 1 cover corner last season, a year after checking in at No. 7. With Hayward locked up and Trevor Williams and Desmond King playing really well last season, the Chargers have one of the deepest cornerback groups if they can somehow get former first-rounder Jason Verrett to stay healthy after missing 27-of-32 games the past two seasons. Hayward is entering his age-29 season.

What are you talking about? He’s received full medical clearance. They wouldn’t be able to trade him if he couldn’t pass a physical.

I read he had surgery on that hamstring. I’ll look again. That was a bad injury that put him on IR.

Edit: looked it up no surgery.

The only guaranteed portion of Richard Sherman's three-year, $39 million contract is his $3 million signing bonus.

Sherman has been representing himself, so this contract is sure to be criticized by the agent community. So if Sherman doesn't recover smoothly from his Achilles' surgeries, the 49ers could conceivably release him before the season and be on the hook for only $3 million. Sherman also agreed to turn $6 million of his total potential earnings into per-game roster bonuses, paid only if Sherman is on the active, game-day roster. It's an incredibly team-friendly deal.

Cardinals released Adrian Peterson.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the move will become official on Monday. Peterson had spurts of effectiveness after arriving via a mid-season trade, but he averaged just 3.5 yards on 129 carries before landing on injured reserve with a neck issue. With David Johnson returning healthy, the Cardinals had little reason to keep Peterson and his nearly $3 million cap hit around. Despite his name value, Peterson is unlikely to find a hot market.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Eagles are "working to retain" free agent CB Patrick Robinson.

Robinson had a breakout season with the Eagles after signing a one-year deal last spring. Set to turn 31 in September, Robinson is almost certainly looking to get as much as possible on his next deal, and the Eagles do not have the cap situation to offer that contract. They also just acquired Daryl Worley from the Panthers and have Sidney Jones and Rasul Douglas waiting in the wings behind Ronald Darby and Jalen Mills. It would be a surprise if Robinson ended up back in Philly. He has been linked with the Giants and Cardinals.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports free agent Jonathan Stewart will visit the Lions on Monday.

Stewart will get into Detroit ahead of DeMarco Murray, who is also expected to speak with the Lions on Monday. Detroit has to improve their running game this offseason, but it is unlikely either of these end-of-the-road options will get it done.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports "at least two teams" are willing to offer Kirk Cousins a three-year, fully guaranteed contract.

He adds another team is willing to offer a "nearly fully guaranteed" contract. RapSheet does not mention any team names, but the Broncos, Vikings, Jets, and Cardinals are all safe bets. Cousins reportedly plans to take a few visits before making his final decision, so we likely will not know his destination until late this week.

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports the Bills are a "team to watch" for free agent Sam Bradford.

Pelissero adds the Vikings have "stayed in touch" with the impending free agent, but Bradford "may have options, provided he can pass a physical." How Bradford's troublesome knee, which coach Mike Zimmer described as "degenerative," fares in medical testing will likely decide how strong his market actually is. If the Bills are comfortable with his health, this marriage makes a lot of sense.

Dolphins released Ndamukong Suh.

ESPN's Jeff Darlington reports the move could be made as early as Monday, but Miami will likely wait until the new league year begins to make it official. Multiple reports have pointed to the Dolphins cutting ties with the All-Pro, and Suh himself hinted at the move in a tweet on Monday morning. Cutting him will save Miami at least $3.9 million against the cap, and a post-June 1 cut would save them around $17 million this year while kicking some dead cap down the road. Suh's contract was bloated, but he remains one of the top defensive tackles in the game. Even at 31, he will have a strong market.

Bears re-signed OL Bradley Sowell to a two-year contract.

Sowell served as a swing lineman for Chicago last season, starting one game at left guard and another at right tackle. He should fill a similar role moving forward.

Chiefs re-signed FB Anthony Sherman.

Sherman did have six catches and scored a rushing touchdown last season, but his biggest contributions come on special teams. That should continue moving forward.

MMQB's Peter King believes the Texans will be "all over" free agent LT Nate Solder.

Offensive line is Houston's biggest need, and getting Solder to fill the gap at left tackle would allow them to move 2017 fourth-rounder Julie'n Davenport to the right side. Solder will have no shortage of suitors, however, including the Patriots. Solder is expected to command at least $12 million per year on his next deal.

Seahawks re-signed S Bradley McDougald to a three-year, $13.95 million contract.

A flier one-year signing last March, McDougald was forced into a starting role following Kam Chancellor's injury and performed relatively well. With Chancellor's future at best in question, it made sense for Seattle to bring McDougald back. He should have the inside track on a starting job if Chancellor remains sidelined.

Cowboys re-signed DT Brian Price to a two-year, $1.35 million contract.

Price was an exclusive rights free agent, so he did well to land a two-year deal, although the contract likely contains few if any guarantees. The tackle should compete for a rotational role in camp.

Raiders released CB Sean Smith.

Signed to a four-year, $40 million deal in 2016, Smith never lived up to his contract with the Raiders, getting benched in literally his first game with the team. He was also charged with assault last August. Cutting him saves Oakland $8.5 million against the cap.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Texans are the "favorites" for free agent OL Zach Fulton.

Rapoport adds Fulton is expected to land more than $7 million per year to be the Texans' center. Houston really needs more help at guard, where Fulton played for the Chiefs, but perhaps they plan to move 2016 second-round C Nick Martin. Houston also needs help at tackle.
