Just watched tonight's "Justified". I've preached that I think this show is great, but I won't make a thread about it. Do any of you TV lovers on here watch this show?

Loved it. Had both episodes on the DVR and finally got time to watch them. The opening scene and the first courtroom scenes had me Loling.

Justified has the best villains on TV. I'm gonna miss that show.

Big time fan. The final three way showdown between Raylan Boyd and the blonde is gonna be incredible. I predict that Raylan's retired boss shoots everyone in the end. Raylan included.

Shots of explosions with actors in the foreground are usually shot with a telephoto lens making the actors appear closer than they actually are... and movie pyrotechnics are very controlled. An on set discharge accident with a gun killed Brandon Lee. They have to take every precaution necessary.

The danger with firearms on set is having real looking fakes and real rounds on set. It's not hard, and completely safe, to have entirely non real looking rounds (e.g. pink plastic cases with plastic bullets with only appropriate coloring facing the camera) that would look a lot better for that shot. Especially when the firearm is never actually fired and all you need is the visual.

Brandon Lee was killed because a live blank round was used in a gun with a real bullet lodged in the barrel of the gun used. He wasn't killed because of a mix up in blank vs real rounds.

It's just lazy like the thousands of shots in film and TV where some doctor or someone else pulls an obviously never fired bullet out of someone.

Am pleasantly surprised. Kinda naysayed it all along cuz gosh BB was so great it’s hard to imagine anything coming close.

Could it be our Jeffersons from the All In The Family? Certainly a good start. The whole “discussion” with Tuco was fantastic. What makes McGill actually Break Bad? Can’t wait.

Agreed. They cast the villains perfectly every season. Sam Elliot and Garrett Dillahount's characters are great so far.

All of my favorite shows are ending or have already ended, going to have to find a new batch.

I could see that. He won't just be sitting at home nursing his wounds all season, that's for sure.

Another outstanding episode last night!

I will say, I found it to be a bit easy to read/predict what was going to happen, but I like the foundation they are laying. Really wish I could just binge watch it lol

It was awesome! After religiously watching BB, Any scene now with Mike in it is just on the edge of my seat for me. Just his look he gave the detectives. Dude is awesome.

Watching the transformation of Saul from his beginnings all nervous and scattered to how he was smooth and slimy in BB is getting increasingly interesting.

Never heard before SNL40 that Saul (Bob Odenkirk) was an SNL writer from way back.

That show is tied to everything one way or another.

Watched the first two episodes - made me want to go and rewatch Breaking Bad. Better Call Saul is not in the same league as BB, at least not yet.

I watched the BB pilot many years before I got hooked on the series. It's usually impossible to tell until at least halfway through the 1st season.

BCS has a different tone... it's lighter, and the stakes aren't as high. Jimmy McGill's path to becoming the unscrupulous schemer Saul Goodman is different from Walt's path to becoming Heisenberg. I mean Walt had to murder people right away. That is going to be more captivating, but it's not right for Saul's story. And really, Breaking Bad didn't reach its fever pitch of awesomeness until seasons 3 and 4. That all being said, yeah BCS is probably not on the same league as Breaking Bad. You could lose fingers in a freak snowblower accident and still count the number of shows that are. But I'm really enjoying it so far and can't wait to see how Jimmy McGill becomes Saul Goodman. And no doubt, the show will get even better with more Mike.

I do not recall even one scene in BB that was as poorly conceived as the scene in "Saul" where the Mexican gang leader was talked out of killing the two skate boarders. Ridiculous, unbelievable dialogue.

Mike as a parking attendant

Mike was a cop...then became the parking attendant, so obviously something happened about that.

I'm loving this show so far. But I'm thinking that part of it is because of it's connection to BB.

I wonder what people think of BCS that never watched BB? It probably wouldn't stand alone as well with the 'BB virgin' watchers.
