St. John is really nice in USVI. Grand Cayman is nice. T&C is great. And I've heard good things about the DR/Punta Cana. I personally wouldn't recommend the Bahamas, Cancun, or Cozumel, but there are certainly nice places in each.

Thousands of travelers to the Caribbean and nearby regions are coming home with an unwanted souvenir: a mosquito-borne virus that recently settled there.

The virus, called chikungunya (chih-kihn-GOON'-yuh), causes severe, often disabling joint pain, and few U.S. doctors are prepared to recognize its signs.

At one New York City hospital, a woman arrived in such agony she had to be admitted just to control her pain. "Thinks she has chicken virus??" the mystified staff wrote on the medical chart after interviewing the patient.

Since it spread from Asia and Africa in late 2013, chikungunya has infected a million people in the Caribbean, Latin America and parts of South America and Mexico. Actress Lindsay Lohan recently said she got it while in French Polynesia.

In the U.S. alone, more than 2,300 travelers since last May have brought home the virus, which has nothing to do with chickens. About a dozen people have gotten it from mosquito bites in Florida.

What do drinks generally cost? Going on a cruise with my family this summer and need to evaluate this drink package option...

Seems to be the case. I like the Idea of waking up in the morning and just going out for coffee on the deck without all the hassle of getting ready to do so. Also sun on the just fills pretty good to. Its to bad swingers and the like seem to ruin that.

Vegas pricing. 35-40 for 5 beers. Mixed drinks close to 10 bucks.

This but they will be watered down or at least they were on The Norwegian Spirit. Defiantly get the soda card it will save you a ton. Oh and only roll the dice when the boat lists the the starboard. You can thank me later.

But first put them in something plastic so they dont break and ruin your clothes. Secondly, wrap it in a plastic bag in case it leaks. Do not keep it in the same bottle (if it comes in a plastic bottle)- Gatorade bottles, water, apple juice, etc....They look for liquids and bottle shapes. They have a lot of bags to scan so most of the time it wont matter, but why tip them off? Switch it to a plastic bottle and enjoy free drinks throughout.

NCl kinda sucks.

The soda card is worth it if you drink 2 or more sodas a day. Def a good idea.

Find the bar tenders at the piano bar. They get less action. Buy two drinks and slip a $5 each time. From there you will be set. $10 is worth doubles for the rest of the time.

6 of us put bottles of booze in luggage. They only took 2 of the 6 guys booze out of suitcase. This is easy way to do it.

Squeeze enough lime in it and its ok on a 100 degree day cruising on a boat. Its just like Bud/Coors. Won't drink the stuff except rafting down a river. Pretty much sucks but it sure tastes good then.

NCL was pretty good for us. I like the fact that it was chill on the dress code. I like the fact that if it was a nice dinner restaurant you could get all dolled up but other then that just relax.

I should say we have never used a different one. Just wasn't our thing. You only got 8 hours at each stop. So when we hit Belize it was a big drawn out argument on whether to go cave tubing or the Mayan ruins.

Oh I absolutely agree. I will just never understand why people buy it at "full price". People treat it like a premium beer, and you generally pay a premium beer price for it. If you're going to pay a premium price, get a premium beer! Where I live it's about $25+ a case, when you can get equally mediocre Miller Lite or whatever for $20 or less. Have to hand it to them for a great job of marketing their product.

You can drink just about anything with a good dose of Lime. Yet Corona still pushes that envelope.
