Chris Berman (ESPN, 7) - Peyton + defense + special teams quite a combination.
Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 4) - The more you see, the more you realize the Broncos are dangerous. Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 4) Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 2) - Can no longer overlook what's going on with the Broncos. Bob Glauber (Newsday, 7) - The Peyton Manning MVP tour continues. Not a bad return for John Fox, either, as the former Panthers coach shows up his old team in 36-14 win. Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 8) - The Broncos have the best balance in the league this season, ranking third in the NFL in offense and sixth in defense. A player like Peyton Manning makes both sides of the ball better. Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 6) - There's a reason these guys did the Cam last weekend; their schedule, plus Peyton Manning, make them look like Supermen. Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 7) - A brutal early schedule has leveled off as the Broncos look to take command in the AFC West. Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 2) - Peyton Manning has the offense fired up like a well-tuned machine. The Broncos defense held the Panthers to 2.5 yards per carry, sacked Newton 7 times, and hit him another seven times. John Lynch (Fox Sports, 5) - The Broncos are getting better as a team every week. All phases are pitching in. The defense held Cam Newton and the Panthers to 0 for 12 on third down, special teams have TD returns past two weeks, and Peyton and his offense continue to get better. Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 2) - Further proof of how much quarterback Peyton Manning is rolling - the Broncos have scored at least 31 points each week during their four-game winning streak. Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 8) - In all phases of the game, they are looking better and better by the week. http://pro32.ap.org/poll and http://twitter.com/AP-NFL |

Coldhardfootballfacts has us at 2 as well and their rankings are based on a number of statistics they track. It's very accurate too, GB were top in 2010 and won the SB and the Giants were 2nd i think last year.
