Default Top 10 rookie rankings

ESPN's Jeff Legwold (local guy) takes a look at the top 10 NFL rookies so far this season. What do you know, Derwin James (S; Chargers) ranked #1 and Denzel Ward (CB; Browns) is #2. Bradley Chubb doesn't even make the "close, not quite" list.

Baker Mayfield debuts in top-10 rookie rankings

Lindsay not on the list is hilarious, especially with Michele on it

Oh I like it (Broncos), but in pure hindsight our high first round position could have been leveraged better. We should have traded our #5 for Buffalo's #12 and #22, picked up a dynamic safety such as James at #12 and maybe even moved back from #22 and still gotten a Lamar Jackson or Will Hernandez.

Now all we have from the first round is Chubb, who hasn't shown to be a high energy playmaker like some of the other first round defensive guys but it is still too early to tell.

well the broncos bet short on Rosen and Allen. If either or both of them become franchise guys it is going to hurt so bad.

I remember Mack being a disruptive player his rookie season.. itís like Chubb isnít even playing, he just gets caught up 1 on 1 in a block, and not just by OTís, anyone who engages him takes him out of the play.. any play run or pass.

Heís pretty awful.

Ware only had 8 his first year. Chubb is on pace for about 6. Mega bust....

Chubb needs to stop getting blocked by tight ends 1 on 1.

ive seen it happen like 5 times this season.

2 of them were touchdowns.

Opposing coordinators are going to continue to do it, until he stops them.

I think barret would be more effective on the edge because of his first step.

Also, anyone b****ing about Chubb not "making plays" or whatever, needs to look at the entire defensive scheme. It is hard to make plays when you aren't putting players in position to play their best and attack.

You mean like dropping him into coverage over and over?

It's like Del Rio all over again.
