On the other hand if Mathews had the QB in a full grasp and he managed to move his arm forward it would be considered a pass play. What a complete joke the officiating has become.

Thanks for the input, Hannity.

"Wolfie" got banned for repeating a behavior he had just come off a month long ban for. "Wolfie" was stupid enough to do it again. When he is back sometime in late October you and he can trade witticisms about the decline of alphahood.

He was spamming that crap all over the board, and has been for awhile.

That post was the one that he ended up getting banned for, but it's hardly the only reason.

These new rules are really taking the fun and joy out of watching the games. It's becoming a game of pitch and catch. Why even bother with the OL? Just have the defense call out to 3 Mississippi or something before rushing the QB, eliminate the running game, and count 2 completions for a 1st down. Because that's what the games basically are anymore.

Protecting the QB is a good thing, but the falling on the QB rule just goes too far. Getting hit is a part of the game.

Don't hit him high. Don't hit him low. Don't run through him like you would on any other tackle.

League is falling apart.

After Jimmy G’s injury, the NFL will probably make a rule that defenders can’t hit the QB within a yard of the sidelines...and that’s even if the QB tries to get extra yards.

not a Real football fanbase that played or coached the real thing.
my friend,that NFL is gone.
It has to be gone.
The NFL has to evolve to survive;
that is why these rules have been implemented, not to improve the game, but to save it !

THE NFL is in fear of losing its fans and viewership if STARS are injured.
That is why they have gone to extra steps to protect QBs.
I dont like it but I understand it.

2025, I will be dead, so will the NFL if they do not evolve into a less violent sport.

if dan fouts had played under these rules he might never have lost a game and he could have played till he was 45.

This is a stupid take. The NFL made football the enemy with the concussion issue. It's part of the game. Soccer hasn't taken away heading the ball because of concussions, it's just a risk you take

parents are saying YES to soccer and NO to football.
the NFL must evolve or die,
not understanding this is STUPID.
you are not stupid are you?
then like it or not, you understand.

Unless you meant yes to FIFA 18 on PS4. I heard that sold pretty well.

That's my point ding-dong. Soccer causes as many (or more) concussions than football

https://www.webmd.com/brain/news/201...st-concussions

Difference: Soccer authorities didn't villainize the game. The NFL has put so much focus on it, they are killing their own sport.

We will have plenty of post-game meltdown posts, callouts and threads without him. There are a couple posters that I am not even sure why they root for the team or some here anymore. Just constant b****ing and calling out other people.
