The board was like 50/50 and heavily skeptical towards Cousins. We're running out of Keenum excuses I see.

Once Keenum is finally pulled after you broncos fans suffer Gary will convince Elway that he has another QB that the broncos should go after.

Maybe T.J Yates?

Gary Kubiak is the problem. I pity you donkey fans. You deserve a better team.
I thought you were out of here.

Here is what I don't get.

How can you make a move to go out and buy a vet QB, then he comes in and plays like crap in the PS and then gets worse in the RS. You tell your team and fan base you are improving the QB position and hope to get average or above average play then you actually get worse? How do you expect to win?

You have a young QB on the bench who's name was being chanted in the PS. There is nothing to lose other than face for the journeyman vet who is sucking ass, throwing an INT in every game and no TD's in the last 2.

By all reports the kid was the 1st in and last out. What would giving him a half hurt?

Between getting beat by his man and his penalties, he might have single handidly made a difference in the outcone of this game

For someone who everyone here said he couldnít hit the broadside of a barn, Josh Allen completed 68% of his passes against one of the best defenses in the nfl.

Keenum was holding the ball for five seconds every play. That inherently increases holding penalties. Bolles didnít have a good game, but he wasnít nearly as bad as youíre making him out to be.

Half the plays Bolles either gets beat off the line or pulls his man down so Keenum can hold the ball for 5 seconds.

Bolles was terrible. Keenum is terrible. And if anyone honestly think Keenum is the only problem Denver has going for them rigjt now, then you're football stupid.

Honestly, if the coaching wasn't so bad, I would probably want Keenum as the stsrter, and give him a chance to pull it together.

But I don't see this coaching staff turning anything around. That said, I'm ok with Kelly using this season to get some early mistakes out of the way. Let's see it he can be what we hope he can be.

Either way, with as poor as the coaching has been, as far as wins/losses I don't think either will have a huge impact on the overall record by the end of the season.

i fully expect Kelly to struggle some as well, but he actually has upside and all rookies do in their first year, which is why he needs the reps this year.

Because clearly Case is not the QB for the future.

So why waste the time?

What do you expect? Denver is always slow-moving with change. This is the land of "best chance to win". We don't have a coach capable of leading a split locker room after a QB change.

While the team looks a little better talent wise, I don't see much that shows they are a well prepared team. It's still early, so I will wait until the bye week to see if they (especially Keenum) get their act together.

If they don't, it's time for Elway and company to tear the team down and start a complete rebuild.

The future qb isnt on this team, so its pretty irrelevant who is playing. Do you want to win a couple more games with Keenum or piss off all the other players with swag?

Jags lost to Titans with Mariora who has 0.5 hand.

Vikings get killed by Bills (+16)

Both at home.

Things happen.

At least with the defense this bad we don't have to worry or care when they quit this year.

Joe Woods has quit

Elway quit with the Rookie and Tremain Brock and Pac Man for CB depth

just an abortion. but hey people like those in America so....

Why would they need a complete rebuild? This team is a QB and coaching staff away from being a contender.

That's the frustrating thing. We went into the offseason knowing we were a QB, coach, and RT away from contention. There was a clear to-do list. Elway panicked on firing VJ last second. We ignored QB for a journeyman.

RT was solved temporarily but it was probably third in priority.

What indication is there he could be? Bvp ripped it up in back up duty too. Tjere os a reason wjy Kelly was the last pick of the draft. He isnt that good in comparison with other nfl qbs.

Maybe the 49ers would make a trade for Keenum now that Jimmy G is out with an ACL?

A guy can dream.
