The other issue is that he has four near-elite to elite skill players you have to check: Hill, Hunt, Kelce, Watkins.

In fairness it was a big yard. Would have been third and goal from the two instead of inside the one.

Actually we'd be fine if they dialed up a blitzing game against him. He still is very inexperienced, and I think he could easily be rattled after a couple of sacks. But sadly I don't think they'll do it. They will play a "safe" game.. give the receivers a cushion, only blitz one on occasion. And if so, will be a long day.

Reid and the Chiefs offense has been running rings around us for the last 3 years. Wade Phillips was also getting clowned by Reid and Alex Smith in 2016. They are even better now because this Mahomes kid is legit and he can strike at any time. This Chiefs offense with the speed and Misdirection is a terrible match up for our predominantly man coverage defensive system. We will need to win the turnover battle +2 and rely on that Mile High magic to have a chance to win this game.

Yeah, remember what Philadelphia did to us last year? Could be that type of thing all over again, although KC's defense isn't as good.

I totally understand replacing VJ, but then who takes his place and would that really be an improvement? I think Vance will be here all season no matter what.

Look at what happened to Tampa Bay last night. Fitz-tragic was about as hot as Mahomes and threw 3 ints. This will happen to Mahomes at some point as it has with any NFL QB, but IF Denver wins (not you guys), it will be the high point of their season. On a side note, I have to laugh every time I get on the Mange, it's like I am conversing with the actual players.

Think this one might be close. This game is huge for Denver's season and they're playing at home on MNF

I actually think we win. No homer speak here. The NFL is weird these days. Just when something or some team begins to trend upwards, something happens.

I think the kid comes back down to earth a bit Monday night.

27-24, home team.

Chiefs win 6.5 billion to 0. Andy Reid’s Little League offense kills it until the playoffs.
Patrick Mahomes will have sex with all our moms and wives WHILE he’s playing and finally reveal himself as Thanos.

By the end of the game we will all be sporting mullets and cutting off our balls to send to him to snack on.

ALL HAIL MATHANOS AND EMPEROR REID AND THE GODS OF SEPTEMBER!!!

That's not what I'm referring to though. If you have watched him, then you can see it. It doesn't matter who he is throwing it to, he can read a defense, he can look off coverage, he is mobile, he is accurate, and he gets rid of the ball faster than most QBs.

Having the better skill players only make the offense as a whole that much better. Plus he's got the very same skill players that Smith had and there is a night and day difference between these two QBs.

Uh, well, yeah, that's what I was saying obvi. And it's not the same skill players because they didn't have Watkins last year.

reminds me of a YOUNG JFE !
(completing passes from 20 yards behind the LOS )
Makes me ponder what JFE would have looked like had he REID as his HC instead of REEVES.
