With the 246th pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers take yet another defensive lineman with their selection of:

Zach Sieler, DE, Ferris State

College Stats:
2015: 17 tackles (7.5 TFL), 6.5 sacks
2016: 80 tackles (29.5 TFL), 19.5 sacks, 5 FF, 2 FR
2017: 79 tackles (21 TFL), 7 sacks, 2 FF, 2 FR
Career: 176 tackles (58 TFL), 33 sacks, 7 FF, 2 FR

Measurables:
Height: 6'05"
Weight: 290 lbs.
Arm: ?
Hand: ?
40 yard dash: 4.78
3-cone: 7.01
Short shuttle: ?
Vertical jump: 30"
Broad jump: 9'11"
225-lb bench: 31 reps

Pro Comparison:
Derek Wolfe, DE, Denver Broncos

BowlenBall's rationale for the pick:
Sieler is the rare early-entry FCS prospect who actually made his decision to enter the draft a few days AFTER the deadline -- his application was accepted though, but he consequently wasn't listed on a lot of draft sites or any lists of early-entry candidates.
The Steelers have already taken two defensive linemen in 2018 (Harrison Phillips in the 2nd and P.J. Hall in the 5th). However, Sieler is by far the best player available on my board right now, and we didn't want to have to compete for him in the UDFA round.

Pick made at:
7:50 a.m. Abu Dhabi
11:50 p.m. New York
10:50 p.m. Chicago
9:50 p.m. Denver
8:50 p.m. Los Angeles
7:50 p.m. Soldotna

The Jacksonville Jaguars and LikeABoss5820 are now on the clock....

With the 251st pick in the OM Mock Draft, the Charger are proud to select:

Michael Joseph, CB, Dubuqe

Overview: It's easy to love Joseph's combination of size, speed and interceptions, but his transition from Division III to the NFL will likely have its fair share of bumps along the way. Joseph has been able to overwhelm the competition across from him with his length and athletic ability, but he's light by NFL standards and his man cover skills will need work before he's ready to handle NFL talent. Joseph has talent to work with, but he may have to learn from the sideline or even the practice squad early on.

PRB's take: Going for a deep sleeper here, didn't want to risk waiting for UDFA on this guy. The first Div III player to win the Cliff Harris award, he's a developmental CB who'll probably end up playing this year because the Charger seem to always have CBs get hurt. He also adds a bit of size to the position for them. I'll be very impressed if MUG has been able to find any tape on him

pick made at 12:42pm MST

With the 254th pick the Arizona Cardinals select:

Jeremy Reaves, S South Alabama

Arizona finds a DB to enter into the backup role that Budda Baker had last year in the 7th round. Reaves can cover and loves to hit. He can also play immediately on Teams.

per B/R

Reaves thrived against some of the biggest targets on the North roster, including Penn State tight end Mike Gesicki, as College Football Talk's Kevin McGuire noted.

The South Alabama product has a wide range of abilities that he displayed on Saturday. He recorded over 100 tackles in his senior season and intercepted eight passes in his four years playing in the Sun Belt.

Like most of the prospects going through the draft process, Reaves still has work left to do, but the Senior Bowl gave NFL teams a good example of what he's capable of.

AZ has no more picks, onto the UDFA round!

pick made at 4:06 pm AZ time.

All hype so far. Wait till he does it when the lights turn on. I hope he is as dominant as he looks though.
