Default Forget Hogan...there's a better option.

He's tanned...he's rested...he's a free agent.

He's Prom Date!

If Oz can return, why not Prom Date?

You don't think it would be comedic gold to see us sign Butt Fumble again?

The brutal fact is...he is probably better than Hogan.

Who the **** would suggest the sanchize? Dont tell me you were one of the apologists when we signed the bum last year. Only footsteps judges a QB by race as his primary trait.

We're so hosed right now it's getting comical. It really is time to blow this thing up. I still think you keep Von though, he's just too special, and if we get the right coach in here next year, things can turn around really fast, as long as you still have some decent pieces in place and the team didn't dump everything. I'm fine with Sander and Thomas gone as we now have a good groups of young WR's. I would not pay Roby, let him test FA and see what he's worth. Trade Keenum if possible. Obviously we keep Harris Jr also.

hard to tell who will be the starting QB and HC in denver next year. Too bad 2019 is not a good draft year for QBs.

We can always offer Minnesota a chocolate covered Nike for Kyle Sloter.

Maybe we could design some kind of tricky delayed draw off the butt-fumble?

Here's what I Know:

Case Keenum sucks! Career backup at best.

Chad Kelly had unlimited talent and unfortunately for him and us...no maturity.

Kevin Hogan is a great backup and a good pickup but not the answer

Elway cannot draft a guy....he's proven that

We will need to go get a guy....how about CARR?

Why would any team trade us their starting QB if he's a legitimate "franchise" type QB?

Why would one want to come here as a free agent?

Neither of those things is happening.

The draft is the only solution. If we can't figure out how to draft one, eventually the guy making the call will be someone else. Regardless of how much he's meant to the team, the next Bowlen is not going to sit there endlessly and wait on him to get it right. This reminds me a lot of the situation here in Dallas that happened when Jerry Jones bought the team and instantly canned the prior regime.

Elway is 0-8 in his attempts to draft or attract the guy we need. Kelly could have been that guy, but it's not surprising that he flunked the test. When you have the kind of problems this guy clearly has it's almost impossible to keep them under wraps forever.

I think he's got two years, and by the 2020 draft, he's got to find a way to get the QB to take over for Keenum, or he's probably going to be gone. I also can't see it taking longer than that for the Bowlen II era to begin...so there's another reason his time could be running out. I think Elway needs to let someone else have a greater say in the evaluation process, but I don't see that happening.
