All of this talk about how "he's not ready" is BS.

Was PFM ready his first year when he threw 28 INTs? Was Elway ready his first year when he was pretty lousy? Was Goff ready when his stat line was 5 TDs and 7 INTs in 7 games? What made Mahomes so much more ready than Kelly considering they are both in their second year [besides the fact that Reid is a far superior coach]? The point is that you have to play the man to see what you have.

Their is zero question that Kelly has superior skills than Keenum, just needs experience. Lets pull the plug on this madness already.

Go SWAG and go Broncos.

Start him. Sooner is better.

This season is done so test swag. And maybe we see hope for the future (maybe we still can get 10:6 with a spark and get a wild card)

If your goal is to win games, Kelly gives you your best chance... handing the ball off and throwing to check downs isn't going to cut it...

While I agree with the OP, there are plenty of existing threads this could have gone into. The same sentiment has been echoed for a couple of weeks now.

That being said, get Kelly on the field and see what he can do. If for nothing else other than getting him experience so he's ready to make a playoff run next season!

Watching the gunslinger mentality of Mahomes and Mayfield is exciting and Kelly brings the same tenacity to the field so I say go for it before the season over.

Kenum bring absolutely nothing to the field, the slow noodle arm dumbass needs to go.

Yeah I know this topic has been discussed plenty, this is more related to the idea of how he is not ready and how that holds no weight compared to what other teams have done

This up coming game is going to be brutal. Hopefully this week sets the stage for the changes we will see later in the year with both VJ and the starting QB. I want to see Chad just maybe not this week.

Just the way the league has been, and I'll get blasted for saying this, but I wouldn't be surprised if we win Sunday.

That being said, yeah, I'm on board the Swag Train.

Hope you are right...This O-Line against that defense may see Keenum leaving the field needing a backup appearance.

I tend to agree with this, but it just doesn't sit right. Because it's pretty much conceding the game (which they probably would have lost anyway).

If Kelly gives them a better chance to win, which is highly debatable, then start him asap. Keenum is so bad that I'd like to find out if Kelly actually does give them a better chance.

I'd stick with Keenum for the full year, broncos can win with him if other things get sorted out. Give Kelly time to get ready for next year.

Bring in Swag— even if we don’t win those games, it sure would be more fun to watch!

I'd rather see him come into a game mid way through and get his feet wet first. WHEN Keenum ****s the bed this weekend, it'd be the perfect time. The Rams will be up a few scores and be in a prevent style D. Let Kelly get into a rhythm and make some throws. Then start him the following week.

If he were a drafted QB, I'd agree... but he won't be here long-term, time to let Chad Kelly get some experience.

Good call. Zero expectations going in that way.

I was not on board with switching out qbs just yet, but after watching keenum hold the ball on 3rd downs and take sacks against the jets, I'm now on board.
We know keenum has 0 confidence and nothing to offer.
Start swag.

It's about time but I think it will just lead to a higher pick. Denver needs to see what they have in Kelly. They know and knew what they had when they signed Sam Bradford's backup.

Chad has the demeanor and fire that I think will be really fun to watch, whatever his level of success is. I think many forget KeenHAM sucked in pre-season, and Chad Kelly looked pretty darn good even if not with first teamers...

Its go time.
