Default Local football sucks

Waking up this Sunday morning, what a sorry state of major college & pro football we've got this season for Front Range fans.

Broncos have lost 6 of 7 and going nowhere; Buffs have pitifully lost 5 in a row after a 5-0 start; Rams are drifting at 3-7. Head coaches are on the hot seat for all! Even usual winning Air Force program is 4-6.

On a positive note, the Colorado state football playoffs are in full swing. That's far more enjoyable to watch than anything the local pro and college ranks have to offer. My son's team won their first round game and hopes to have a chance to defend their title. One down, three to go.

I'm sorry. Football in Bama at all levels, well except the pro level that we don't have, is always good.

Head over to Fort Collins next week and watch the nation’s highest scoring team in action. The Utah State Aggies are ranked 14th in the nation and put up over 50 ppg. Go watch QB Jordan Love, who has some of the best numbers in the nation despite sitting out 12 quarters this season because the leads are so big that starters get pulled in the THIRD QUARTER!
They’re entertaining as hell!
Yesterday they put up over 800 yards of offense. This after putting up over 700 the week before.

gooooooooooo Utes... if they could win a PAC-12 championship I'd consider that a major success for them.

CSU is just embarrassing this season. No fight, no leadership, no direction.

Very un-"proud to be"...

You know how this will play out for Utah right? They’ll have a 2 score lead at halftime in Boulder next week and will end up losing. It’s November. They are snakebit in November.

CSU has been bad since I moved to Ft Collins, in the 70's! Granted, Sunny gave them a few good years, but I really don't follow them, just remember them always getting killed.
