What do the Chiefs have to do with your team? And why are you so obsessed with using them as a crutch when your team fails?
The Chiefs haven't won a SB in 40 years. Cool. So that's supposed to make you feel better about your team not winning one in about 2 decades?

Again. Failing to answer a simple question.

When is the last time the chiefs "won when it mattered"?

If you open your eyes the answer is not 40 years ago stupid. The question is making a point that there's more than just the SB that "matters". Broncos fans are only supposed to be satisfied and happy 2 years of their existence?

Haha so this is widening the goal posts for losing the ultimate game. Your playoff wins hardly mattered when the end result was blowouts.
I mean, if they were even close enjoyable games I would agree, but **** man. Blowouts by 30+ points?
But keep pumping them up though.

If the Chiefs won in Indy in January they would have lost to the Pats in a blow out the new week just like the Colts. Are you saying It's okay to use that game as a huge chest pumping move even though it ultimately lead to an ass raping the next week for the world to see?

For us, playoff wins come and go all the time over the last few decades. You're right I guess we shouldn't treat them as anything meaningful when they happen several times more than other teams.

Maybe one day you can watch a playoff win for your team too. I know you've never seen one though.

If the chiefs won in Indy id think they were a better team.

All a fan can ask is to watch a competitive team on the field consistently year after year. If you think a SB win happens all the time you're not a smart football fan.

I watched us beat Houston only to lose embarrassingly (and sad thanks to Joe getting hurt) the next week.

It hardly matters when it leads to a blowout.

The same Patriots that Denver beat in the AFC title game?

It doesn't matter who won that game bc it would have ended in pain just like it did. SF was the only team close to Seattle then.

That isn't true. It still matters as they were competitive that year. For a fan, Competitive years > years of suck.

Do you think buffalo fans like the last few years of irrelevant suck, or the few years they kept losing the SB? They were competitive back then. Relevant. Today not so much. What seasons were more fun to watch for them? The bills fans I know all say back when they were competitive.

Chiefs were competitive last year and lost their playoff game by 1 point.

Exactly. Look at the chiefs fan base during this season. You don't think they were happy? You didn't see euphoria cause the season wasn't over by week 5??

By your logic why even be a fan of the chiefs for the last 40 years?

But you're saying that the team Denver beat in the AFC Championship Game in order to advance to the Super Bowl would have blown your team out?

You know there's a bunch of idiot Browns and Jets fans having this same circular argument on a Steelers and Patriots board somewhere.

"We're really the same! We all didn't win a Super Bowl so the Jets/Browns are totally on the same level as the Steelers/Patriots when you really think about it! NURRRRRRRRRRR"

Nah. I experienced that mediocrity throughout most of the King Carl era.

There are fanbases who wish for mediocrity after enduring horrible seasons every year.

We call them Browns fans. Lions fans can officially claim they are in the mediocrity column now for sure.

The Jags would also be in this category...that is, if they had any fans.

We had a taste of what they feel every year with our one 4-12 season. I did not like that taste.

The 35-6 "ass-raping" began with 11:47 left in the 3rd quarter.

Ps. It's no big feat winning more playoff games than the chiefs. But it's laughingly pathetic you try to defend it several times a day in the offseason on another teams board.

Also, answer this question. When's the last time the chiefs won "when it mattered"?
January 11, 1970.

The Chiefs have played in 23 playoff games; winning 8 and losing 15. The Broncos have played in 38 playoff games; winning 20 and losing 18. Pretty clear which team is better.
