I am a recovering alcoholic with 20+ years sobriety, I have come to understand at the root of it it's a Spiritual disconnect problem.

Course that is the root of all problems.... some say.

Wtf? I knew 4 people that committed suicide by pills. This is so wrong on many levels.

According to Chrissy these statistics indicate most women don't really want to kill themselves and their "cries for help" were just a bit too effective.

Would you say that someone who stuck a gun in their mouth, pulled the trigger and didn't die wasn't trying to kill them self?

I agree that Fischer King was probably my favorite performance in a film by Robin Williams. Good Morning Vietnam was good too. I'm also one of the few people who liked What Dreams May Come.

What's my point? You are a ****ing idiot. That's my point. How dare you ****ing assume the people I knew took pills as a cry for help as oppose to them actually wanting to end their lives. That's is ridiculous and a b**** comment. Look at how many people responded to that ridiculous comment. I think they can read just fine.

So the 40% of women who prefer pills and poisons to every other form of suicide, they all just didn't mean it? Your sample size is probably a little small. I'm sure your friend who took ten tylenol and then threw up probably was a cry for help, but making blanket declarations is calloused and stupid. And you may be surprised to know you're not the only person who has known someone who has tried suicide. Try walking in on someone and then having to call 911 so they could be resuscitated. And then finding out they were ten minutes from death had you not arrived. But please, tell me how "they were faking" and "if they're serious they actually die."

Also, go **** yourself.

Yeah, Chrissy, I'd save face and lay low a little while.

Suicide is a pretty touchy subject, and it has affected us all at one point. Even if you're right (which you aren't), you're still wrong.

I do know. And what, your one example of some attention-whoring tool box trumps the raw statistics? Keep digging, though. Everyone already thinks you're an idiot. Now we know you're a classless tool as well.

One other thing I'd like to say.... people are playing with fire. Even if they are doing it for "attention" ...

I'm assuming most people don't know what the lethal dose of some pills or the right place to cut your wrists or the right way to tie a noose.

So when you attempt it, even if it's 'just for attention' you're running a very high risk of actually offing yourself. And most people know it.

I don't think anybody says "I've done all the calculations, and the lethal dose of this stuff for my weight is 1,000mg, so I'm going to take 900mg of this stuff so people will feel sorry for me."
