Treat the kid with the respect he deserves. Take him off special teams. He's too valuable to get hurt doing that crap.

Terrell Davis did the same thing. Difference is they instantly stopped it when they realized he was actually more than a 6th rounder.

Regardless of Von, that was a blatant hold by Janovich.

Didnít even need to hold him. He couldíve just stood there hand behind his back and Lindsay wouldíve still passed the defender.

Way better than Bush.

Lindsay already has runs of 53, 29, 28, 22 & 19 yards thru only 7 games. (4 20+ yd runs & 1 50+)

Bush's longest rush in his rookie year was only 18 yards.

Bush avg 3.6 yd/carry while Lindsay is at a smooth 5.8 so far this season. Lindsay is the lighting in a bottle everyone expected Bush to be.

I know, I just wanted to complain about the inconsistency of the refs, and it posed me of at the time after seeing 2-3 obvious holds not called when Miller was near tackled

I agree with those that want to see Lindsay taken off STís, however, this coaching staff knows they are on thin ice, and are going to milk the best players as much as they can. They arenít going to take a long term view when they donít think they are going to be here themselves long-term.

Not agreeing with it, nor am I justifying it, just giving thier POV.

I looked at Bush's rookie stats before posting the thread, noting his rushing wasn't that great but he did have 88 catches. That's where Broncos could utilize Lindsay for greater impact. I wouldn't mind if they took Lindsay off return duties, especially kickoffs.

Unfortunately for me the story of Lindsay (although great) continues to highlight the de-valuation of the RB position. If you can pickup Lindsay through a draft for next to nothing then why spend a top pick on saquon barkley? I'm not saying that Lindsay is anywhere near as good as SB but from a value perspective it's makes the Giants strategy super absurd.

Compounded by Darnold playing for the Jets with Eli looking like he plays for Mike McCoy.

New Elway strategy: trade all picks for vets and only sign udfas.

Lindsay hits gaps fast, gets to the 2nd level fast. Royce is a plodder, doesn't see gaps and doesn't hit them. Royce has missed a lot of chances to get to the 2nd level, very hesitant.

He is playing better than what Bush did.... He runs hard! I do think Denver needs to limit him a little though. Freeman makes a great counter balance.

Just think, the G Men could have taken Darnold at #2 and simply drafted Lindsay in the 7th round and been in a much better situation right now.

Donít be too hard on Royce, we brought him in here to get first downs and touchdowns and I think heís doing that pretty well. The guy is definitely a talented fighter, and should only get better over time. Once again, I think heís been a great contributor to this team, and donít think Lindsay could handle all of Royceís carries as well.

Miller needs to start making a scene and demanding the holds be called. I think heís taken the stance of not playing the refs but he absolutely needs to.

VJ said that Elway will be adding a RB soon because of the injury to Royce. Will crack me up if they snag Henderson off the Jets PS.
