Not so weird. “Open competition” amongst RB’s means Freeman is ready to take the lead as soon as the coaches are convinced he has mastered the playbook and can pick up blitzes. That’s what they are waiting to confirm. He’ll take the starting position soon enough.

All the competition being open means is that Booker is about to fall to #3

Colin Kap is not a QB we would want unless we were playing the Jake Plummer offense. He's simply not a drop back, read defenses, type QB.
Reid is by far the best player on that list.

But then why is Booker so high? He’s not even particularly good in pass pro.

He could start at either safety position for the Broncos

Cincy has released strong safety George

Quote:
Coming two weeks before the start of the season, Cincinnati's decision comes as a surprise. A fifth-round draft pick in 2012, Iloka has been a mainstay in Marvin Lewis' secondary, starting 76 of a possible 82 games over the past five years.

The move is purely financial, Garafolo added, as Iloka is due $5.3 million in salary and roster bonuses this season. The Bengals had kicked the tires on Eric Reid as a potential replacement earlier this offseason, but the former 49ers starter remains out of work in a veteran safety market that has been historically slow to develop.

Simmons is a better cover guy, but Reid is a pro-bowl or close caliber safety and the only one under 30 on that list. Ignoring him is making it obvious why he's out of work.

If it's really about winning, he deserves a shot.

We could absolutely use his talents. From my understanding he’s a high character guy (unless you’re a racist).
Heard his character is questionable (unless you hate cops).

I know a bunch of people who played with him at LSU and they said he’s a really cool guy. He even comes from a great family. There was an article I believe in the local New Orleans paper about them.

If we’re talking football, he’s always been a great center field safety with great ball skills that will come up and hit you. He’s also a great box safety. He’s like a more athletic and bigger Darian Stewart.

To be honest, I have no idea about him personally but since Action had to come back from being MIA from the Mane for months and then bring that **** here, I just thought it was an appropriate response regardless of any truth to it (just like his OP). Seems age and talent is there.

I think the filing of grievance has some to do with it right now.

If he had waited a month or so before filing he may have been picked up. His agent said he would stand for the anthem in 2018. If Tartt didn’t start ballin the way he did I thought SF would re sign him to a one year. But Tartt is legit.

Titans have been exploring the idea of signing him.

Yes. That is the difference.

My response had truth. Yours did not.

Eric Reid has always been a high character guy since college. It is actually one of his assets. He was a team captain for the 49ers.

If him kneeling turns him into having questionable character in your eyes, there is a high probability that you’re a racist.

And an extremely stupid individual (both go hand in hand as you should know).

Not surprising that you make comments when you lack information and knowledge. It's common for people like you.

Actuon, I just read you posts. "High probably" is not fact, it is your opinion. Nowhere is there a survey of people that respect those that stand for the anthem and if those people are racist. In fact, it is an asinine remark by you. There are no facts that you can bade this on. It is purely based on your opinion. 19Morton stated as such now it is your turn to do the same.

It’s logical.

If you label a an individual as having low character for kneeling during an anthem for clear and serious social issues ( CLEAR THERE IS NO FORM OF DISRESPECT) then you obviously lack a sense of empathy for that human.

You also lack intelligence. How does this have anything to do with a persons lack of character? Wouldn’t it be the complete opposite? How does one lack character yet get appointed team captain when you’re hardly a vet?

When you lack empathy for humans and lack intelligence, that greatly increases your odds of being a racist.

The only people that have taken the stance that 19morton77 have taken are white men and women. That is it.

We’re talking about a guy kneeling during the anthem. What level of stupidity must one have to define this as lack of character?

You are clearly stupid, 100% lack empathy, and likely racist in some form.

None of your dots connect with point A to point "whatever" as being racist. In fact, try taking this to a debate class and watch your grade as an F.

I also think VJ is not painting himself in a corner, which he did often last year.

They were pretty quick to rule out Sloter, which now looks bad.
They were too quick to name McKenzie as the starting PR last year.

On the flip side, they also learned to be quicker to make the call when it is so obviously correct - Chad Kelly.

I think with Booker there are a few things going on. 1) learning from last year they are not going to be too quick to anoint a rookie. 2) propping Booker up as a 1 may be posturing for trade value.
